Team Liquid wants to expand its presence in MLBB following success in other popular games

STUN.GG was home to top-tier esports teams AURA and ECHO which will now be under Team Liquid. With the acquisition of the same, the newly named teams will be Liquid Echo and Liquid Aura, competing in both the MPL and MDL leagues, with the former already updating the info on its official social media platforms.

Speaking about the acquisitions, AURA Esports is known for its participation in MLBB Indonesian tournaments for over five years now. On the other hand, ECHO has been a popular name in the Philippines Esports scene, being the winners of the 2023 edition of the Mobile Legends M4 World Championship and MPL-PH Season 11 before finishing second in MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2023.

Team Liquid has been a popular name when it comes to Esports dominance, having teams across popular games such as League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, and so on, and now, they have another one added to their list. With successful teams under it now, we shall need to see how their performances go.

PMSL Americas Spring 2024: Schedule and Format

The event will kick off on the 29th of May 2024 and complete on the 16th of June. So far as we know, there will be three weeks of league battles with each week consisting of 5 matchdays. Each matchday consists of 6 matches. The format for the Grand Finals will be revealed at a later date.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the offline event at São Paulo. Along with 8 partnership teams, three teams each from LATAM and NA qualifier, and 2 teams from Brazil Qualifier will fight throughout the event to secure the lucrative sets of prizes. After the end of the Regular Season, four teams were promoted to the Playoffs. MTC Turkiye Championship Season 3 champion faced off The Prestige in their first match and took a win by 3-1. After a clean sweep in the upper-bracket final, the team defeated Vatangame Esports by 3-0 and moved to the finals.

On the other hand, the other finalist S2G Esports lost their opening match of the Playoffs against Vatangame Esports. However, they managed to restore the performance and claimed to be the top two to meet Fire Flux Esports. In the grand finals, the champion didn’t spare any opportunity for the opponent S2G and a blow of 4-1 placed them on top to carry the trophy home.

Fire Flux Esports confirmed a direct slot in MSC 2024, runner-up to the Wildcard stage

While the champion Fire Flux Esports confirmed a direct slot in the main event of MSC 2024 at Riyadh in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024, the runner-up S2G will play in the wildcard stage. The event featured a decent amount of nearly $22,000 as the prize pool.

Fire Flux Esports took the largest share, nearly $6,200. The runner-up packed $5,200 and third-placed team Vatangame Esports bagged a sum close to $4,500. Mobile Legends MTC Turkiye Championship had three seasons so far and Fire Flux Esports became the the champion each time! A quite astonishing performance showcased by the team over the past few years.

For the third season that ended earlier, the team started as the hot favorite and justified their name once again by lifting the trophy. It has become a habit for the Turkey fans to watch the team becoming champion. Thus, the fans will want to watch the team carrying the same performance in the upcoming events of MLBB Esports.

Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) is a long fight for the teams and it kicked off in February this year. After processing through the regular season, playoffs, and grand finals, Tianba manages to reach the top. This is their second PEL title within a period of a little more than 13 months.

Tianba finished the last PEL in seventh place where Titan Esports Club became the champion. The uncertainty is probably the highest of all PUBG Mobile events in PEL. Each team is considered a top-notch potential and can bring down the point table in a blink of an eye. However, the journey was not always pleasing for the team.

Tianba failed to directly qualify for the Grand Finals after finishing the league stage in 8th. After being through the Playoffs, they joined the other 15 teams for the grand finals. Similar to most of the events in PUBG Mobile, the grand final consisted of 18 matches. Tianba wasn’t performing badly but was not up to the mark as well. However, things got changed after the second day as the team brought three WWCDs home, adding huge points beside their names.

Tong Jia Bao Esports tried their best but couldn’t catch the PEL Spring 2024 champion. Decimating the others, the champion took 100 elimination points along with 65 points to keep them on top. Sad for the NOVA Esports fans, their hard luck continues following the team. One of the most favorite and successful teams in PUBG Mobile esports history, NOVA could only manage to be in the top 12. We may again miss the team in the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024.

PEL Spring 2024 is stacked with a huge cash prize, the champion took the largest share

With over 2.5M USD cash prize, the event marked itself as one of the highest-paying mobile esports championships. Tianba after accumulating all the prize money, made almost $800,000 while the others couldn’t reach even halfway. Tong Jia Bao Esports pocketed nearly $340,000 while the third-highest-earning team was Weibo Gaming with just a little over $250,000 in their account.

Chinese teams are regarded as the most ferocious and deadly in the title’s esports events. While the battle is of the giants, the global teams should make themselves ready for what’s coming in the upcoming international events. And Tianba will surely look to bring the trophy to China again!

Organized by MOONTON, the esports event kicked off on the 19th of May featuring a total of nearly $10,100 as the prize pool. It showcased the battle of 10 participants for a slot in the next grand event.

MSC 2024 Myanmar Qualifier champion Falcon showcased pure dominance

Falcon Esports was undoubtedly the best performer in the event. From the beginning of the tournament, the team performed exceptionally well. After becoming the champion of Group A, the team moved to the Playoffs stage, and the first opponent they had to face was Team Star Boyz.

A clean sweep of 3-0 placed the champion into the upper bracket final where they met Burmese Ghouls. A cut-to-throat battle took place and the champion secured a place in the grand finals. While Burmese Ghouls had to play in the lower bracket final, they defeated AI Esports to move to the final again and met the MSC 2024 Myanmar Qualifier champion. However, the grand final went one-sided as four consecutive rounds were taken away by Falcon, placing them on top of every team from the event.

Falcon Esports is qualified for the MSC 2024 to represent Myanmar at Riyadh

The MSC 2024 Myanmar Qualifier was the decider event for MSC 2024, a slot was fixed for the champion team. Winning the event, Falcon Esports took the chance and will be representing Myanmar in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The event featured a stack of nearly $10,100 as the prize pool. Being the champion, Falcon took almost $4,800 and the runner-up got $2,400. However, the champion team managed to send a message to the others that the team was going to pose a bigger threat in the future. Thus, fans can also expect to watch the team in action at any events coming ahead.

Mobile Legends MPL KH Season 6 champion showcased a mixed performance

The champion of the MPL KH Season 6, See You Soon, experienced a mixed performance in the event. The regular season wasn’t very pleasing for them as the team managed to qualify for the Playoffs after acquiring fourth place. But the graph of their performance touched peak heights as they entered the playoffs.

PRO Esports stood as the first hurdle on the way to See You Soon’s champion track. Decimating the team by a 3-1 scoreline, they moved forward to meet CFU Gaming at the upper bracket semifinals. A 3-0 scoreline put an end to CFU’s journey while the champion stepped into the upper bracket final. Making the scoreline the same, See You Soon won against Team Flash KH and waited for the other team in the grand finals.

DRoar Legends started the finals after winning the first round against the MPL KH Season 6 champion. However, the runner-up was still ahead of the champion after the third round but then See You Soon started showcasing the domination to win a consecutive 3 rounds. The final scoreline stood at 4-2 to crown See You Soon as the champion.

See You Soon took the majority of the Prize Pool home

The event featured a massive prize pool of $40,000, similar to the earlier events in Cambodia, to share among the teams. Based on their ranking after the end of the tournament, the teams were awarded. Being crowned the champion, the team took the largest share of the prize money which was $16,000. The runner-up DRoar Legends bagged $8,000 while the third-placed team Team Flash KH pocketed $5,000.

Apart from winning a large portion of the prize money, the team will be heading to Riyadh to represent Cambodia in the MSC 2024. Thus, the responsibility falls upon the team to perform well, and so will the fans who want to watch.

Before the grand finals, 18 teams joined the event for a prize pool of nearly 2M USD. Organized by Tencent Games, Fighting Esports Group, and VSPO, the event started on the 31st of January 2024. The team is comparatively new in the league as Wolves joined the KPL back in September 2021 after acquiring the roster of QGhappy.

Wolves became KPL Spring 2024 champion amidst a mixed performance

Well, the champion team had quite a rough journey throughout the event. Despite not being the hot favorite, the team managed to come out as the champion after delivering a mixed performance. On the other hand, the runner-up, AG Super Play, fought astonishingly well in the event. Hard luck for the team, it couldn’t win.

KPL Spring 2024 champion started its Playoffs stage by facing KuaiShow Gaming in the upper-bracket semifinals. A clean sweep of 4-0 placed the team in the upper bracket final. After losing against the runner-up by a 4-1 scoreline, the team went to fight KuaiShow again in the lower bracket final. A similar scoreline was spotted in the upper-bracket semifinals and both Wolves and AG Super Play faced off in the grand finals.

The first four rounds went head-to-head, marking the score at 2-2. Wolves got an upper hand after winning the fifth round but AG Super Play quickly made a comeback and took the final into the seventh and the final round. The Wolves surprised at the final round and took it away, a 4-3 win went to the Wolves’ pocket.

Wolves won a large portion of the amount from the prize pool

The event featured a massive ¥15,000,000 (almost 2.2M USD) as the prize pool. Being the KPL Spring 2024 champion, Wolves pocketed the largest share. Pang from the champion team became the Final MVP of the event. The champion team gathered a total of nearly $707,000 accumulating every reward while the others gained a few thousand bucks as well.

Wolves are showing the might in the KPL even after changing the title of the roster. This is their 10th Honor of Kings title. After Spring 2021, this season witnessed the first Ultimate Battle, making it one of the hardest grand finals so far. However, the showcase of power will continue to happen as KPL Summer 2024 is going to start in the next month.

PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) CSA Spring 2024 will run in two phases. The league stage will begin on the 22nd of May 2024 and will end on the 9th of June. In the three weeks of league stage battle, each week will consist of 5 matchdays. There will be a total of 30 matches per week.

After the end of the league battle, the top 16 teams will advance to the Grand Finals. The Finals will kick off on the 13th of June 2024 to the 15th. After fighting in 18 matches (6 matches in a day), the top team will wear the crown to become the champion.

PUBG Mobile Challengers League (PMCL) SEA Summer 2024: Schedule and Format

The event is divided into 2 stages, the League stage and the Grand Finals. The league stage will begin on the 22nd of May and will close its veil on the 9th of June. 20 teams from the Spring Split season will fight for 3 weeks divided into 5 groups of 4. Each week consists of 5 matchdays and each matchday will feature 6 matches, making it a total of 30 matches each week.

Teams will be awarded with League Ranking Points (LRP) based on their placements after each week. The top 16 from this stage will enter into the Grand Finals. From the 14th of June 2024, the grand finals will begin. After a total of 18 matches, 6 per day, the grand finals will decide the champion team as well as book a slot for the winner at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024.

20 teams are going to start the event while 16 will play in the grand finals. PMCL SEA Summer 2024 is featuring teams from the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore. The league features invited teams from the 2023 PMPL SEA Wildcard Fall and top teams from each respective 2023/2024 PMNC. Here’s the list of the participant teams.

Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Brazil 2024: Schedule and Format

The event is divided into three stages, namely Phase 1, Phase 2, and the Grand Finals. Just after the announcement regarding the esports roadmap, the first phase started. But this inaugural season of FFWS Brazil 2024 differs from the other regional events and has only a single split throughout the year.

After the end of the first phase in June 2024, the top 3 teams will fly to Riyadh to participate in the Esports World Cup 2024. As the next phase is scheduled to kick off on the 27th of July, the end date is unknown. All the 18 teams will join this stage as well. The champion team of this stage will qualify for the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024 and the top 12 will head to the grand finals.

On September 28th, the Grand Final will commence with the 12 finalist teams. 8 matches will be played across the maps of Free Fire. After the rounds, the top team will wear the crown of the champion while the top two will qualify for the FFWS Global Finals 2024.

The biggest Free Fire event in Brazil, replacing the former LBFF league, has its separate weight in the country. The extremely popular event, however, will be broadcast live on the official YouTube and Facebook of Free Fire Esports BR.
