How to play the Genshin Impact Specially-Shaped Saurian Search Event

After the first day of the event, a new challenge will be unlocked every two days for a total of four challenges. This event also allows co-op of a maximum of two players who can try the challenge together. Both players will receive the rewards. Speak to the quest NPC to begin the challenges.

You can configure your party before the battle begins during a challenge. When you enter battle, all party members will be revived, and their HP and Elemental Energy will be restored. Additionally, you can adjust your Negotiation Strategies before entering combat.

Negotiation Strategies

Negotiation Strategies are debuffs that can be applied to the enemy. The enemy’s HP will change based on the number of Negotiation Strategies selected. The various Negotiation Strategies are divided into Active Strategies and Long-Term Strategies.

The former can be activated by you at the appropriate time. You can adjust the Negotiation Strategies only on the Fearless (highest) difficulty. Decreasing the number of Strategies will increase the difficulty of challenges. Complete challenge objectives at different difficulties to obtain the corresponding ratings and rewards.

Battle Pass Missions

This event added additional “This BP Period” Battle Pass missions to the The Realms Rocked Battle Pass. The Battle Pass EXP (BP EXP) obtained from these missions does not count towards the weekly experience limit of 10,000 BP EXP.

How to play the Genshin Impact Iridescent Arataki Rockin’ for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness Event

This event contains three game modes with easy and fun minigames. Complete the event’s various game modes to gain “Iridescence Tour Tickets.” Collect a certain number of “Iridescence Tour Tickets” to invite “Canine Warrior” Gorou (geo/bow).

Xtreme Carnival Ensemble

This game mode is similar to the instrument-playing mini-games we have experienced before. Talk to Dvorak to initiate the minigame. This location can also be teleported to from the map.

There will be several difficulty levels. Completing at a higher difficulty will grant all the rewards from lower difficulties as well.

Trillion Trinket Trawl

For this game mode, you will have to do several things like defeat enemies and collect local specialties. You will not be given a location to navigate, but your goals will be pretty straightforward.

Follow Dvorak’s checklist by defeating specific monsters, collecting designated Teyvat regional specialties, or using the photo-taking function to take pictures of specific targets to obtain the corresponding venue decorations. Talk to Dvorak after completing all the missions in this game mode.

A Meeting of Melodies

For this game mode, navigate the NPC from the events page and talk to them.

The NPC will hum a tune and you must choose the most suitable note from of a selection of notes to fit into the empty spaces of a track to match the hummed melody of the original song.

Genshin Impact Iridescent Arataki Rockin’ for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness Event: Rewards

Completing the entire event grants three rewards:

• A copy of “Canine Warrior” Gorou (geo/bow)
• Crown of Insight
• Nightwind Horn

Nightwind Horn is a musical instrument that you can keep even after the event is over. Additionally, completing mini-games from this event grants rewards such as:

Normal Attack

Performs up to 6 consecutive spear strikes.

Charged Attack

Consumes a fixed amount of Stamina, dashing toward a nearby opponent and cleaving once.
Continuously holding this button will cause Arlecchino to consume Stamina and engage in up to 5s of high-speed movement.

Plunging Attack

Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Masque of the Red Death

When Arlecchino has a Bond of Life equal to or greater than 30% of her Max HP, she will enter the “Masque of the Red Death” state, where her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to deal Pyro DMG. This cannot be overridden.

When in the “Masque of the Red Death” state, Arlecchino’s Normal Attacks will deal extra DMG to opponents on hit that scales off her ATK multiplied by a certain ratio of her current Bond of Life percentage. This will consume 7.5% of said current Bond of Life. Her Bond of Life can be consumed this way every 0.03s. When her Bond of Life is consumed in this manner, All Is Ash’s CD will decrease by 0.8s.

Elemental Skill: All Is Ash

Summons forth Balemoon Bloodfire, dealing Pyro DMG to multiple nearby opponents and performing a dash-cleave against one of them, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. Opponents hit by the aforementioned attack will have a Blood-Debt Directive applied to them.

Blood-Debt Directive

• Lasts 30s. Every 5s, it will deal 1 instance of Pyro DMG to the opponent. Max 2 instances. This DMG will be considered Elemental Skill DMG.
• When Arlecchino uses a Charged Attack or her Elemental Burst, Balemoon Rising, she will absorb and clear nearby Blood-Debt Directives. Each Directive absorbed grants her a Bond of Life worth 65% of her Max HP.
• The maximum value of the Bond of Life she can be granted through Blood-Debt Directives within 35s after using her Elemental Skill is 145% of her Max HP. Using the Elemental Skill again during this duration will restart the count on duration and the limit on the value of Bond of Life she may gain from Blood-Debt Directives.

Elemental Burst: Balemoon Rising

Arlecchino’s great wing of Balemoon Bloodfire beats as she absorbs and clears Blood-Debt Directives around her. She deals AoE Pyro DMG before clearing the CD of All Is Ash and healing herself. The healing is based on her Bond of Life value and ATK.

Ascension 1 Passive: Agony Alone May Be Repaid

Blood-debt directives have the following characteristics:

• Arlecchino will be granted a Bond of Life worth 130% of her Max HP when an opponent to which she applied a Directive is defeated.
• 5s after a Directive is applied, it will be upgraded to a Blood-Debt Due. When absorbed, it will instead grant Arlecchino a Bond of Life worth 130%.

A Bond of Life created in the aforementioned ways cannot exceed the original limit on the value of Bonds of Life obtained through All Is Ash.

Ascension 4 Passive: Strength Alone Can Defend

Arlecchino gains 1% of All Elemental and Physical RES for every 100 ATK she has over 1,000. The maximum RES increase she can gain this way for each is 20%.

Utility Passive: The Balemoon Alone May Know

While in combat, Arlecchino gains a 40% Pyro DMG Bonus and can only be healed through Balemoon Rising.

Understanding the Bond of Life mechanic

Arlecchino’s entire playstyle is based around the Bond of Life mechanic. We need to first understand BoL before trying to understand her kit. BoL is a new mechanic introduced in Fontaine. It can be applied to characters by certain enemies and certain weapons.

• BoL covers the HP bar with a red bar
• It prevents the character from getting healed
• BoL is applied as a percentage of max HP rather than a fixed amount
• The total amount of BoL is 200% (2x of max HP). Since the red bar covering the HP bar is proportional to the BoL and max HP, it covers half of the amount of BoL. If the BoL is 100%, the red bar will cover half of the HP bar, if the BoL is 200%, it will cover the entire HP bar
• BoL acts like an additional HP that needs to be removed by healing before the actual HP of the character can be healed. For example, if a character has 100 points of BoL then they need to be healed for 100 points before their actual HP can be healed
• BoL can be cleared by healing a specific amount by visiting the Statue of the Seven
• BoL has a duration of 10 minutes, after which it will be cleared on its own

Arlecchino can apply BoL to herself through her Skill. This BoL is the most important part of her kit. Her Pyro infusion, her DMG increase, and her self-heal, all of them are based on the current BoL that she has. Arlecchino is the only character who can apply BoL to herself. She is also the only character who uses BoL as the center of her kit.

Normal Attack: Invitation to a Beheading

This is the primary source of her DMG. As long as Arlecchino has BoL that is over 30% of her max HP, she will gain a Pyro infusion that cannot be overridden. Her DMG is increased by a certain percentage of her BoL. Hitting enemies consumes the BoL, this means her DMG will go down as time passes. Consuming BoL this way also reduces the cooldown of her Skill.

It has a 30s cooldown, but normal attacking until the Pyro infusion runs out will make it so that her Skill is available again. One thing to note is that her Pyro infusion does not go away if she is swapped out. It is not reliant on any kind of cooldown either. The only condition for Pyro infusion is having BoL over 30%.

Elemental Skill: All Is Ash

This is the only way Arlecchino can gain BoL for her Pyro infusion. Marking enemies with her Skill and absorbing the marks with a charged attack will grant her BoL. She gains 65% BoL from 1 marked enemy and the maximum BoL she can gain from one use of her Skill is 145%.

This means she can max out her BoL by marking and consuming marks from at least 3 enemies. Since each normal attack drains 7.5% BoL, Arlecchino can unleash 19 normal attacks before the Pyro infusion runs out. One thing to note is that the theoretical maximum BoL is 200% but Arlecchino can gain only 145% from one use of her Skill.

However, when her Pyro infusion runs out due to BoL going below 30%, that BoL does not get cleared. When you gain BoL again, it is added to it. If she has around 25% BoL when her Pyro infusion runs out, getting 145% BoL from the next use of her Skill will end up with her having 170% BoL. As such, Arlecchino will always have more BoL in her second rotation since the leftover BoL from the first rotation will be added to it.

Elemental Burst: Balemoon Rising

This Burst does several things:

• Abosrbs all the marks from nearby enemies, which allows her to obtain maximum BoL (200%)
• AoE Pyro DMG
• Resets the cooldown of her Skill
• Heals herself based on her ATK and BoL
• Clears all BoL

The reason she absorbs nearby marks is because it grants her BoL and her healing partially scales off her current BoL. However, after using the Burst she will be left with no BoL and no Pyro infusion. But thankfully, she can instantly use her Skill since its cooldown will be reset by the Burst.

If Arlecchino is on the brink of death, it is possible to use her Burst to heal her, use her Skill and charged attack, and gain the Pyro infusion back. Since the Burst does not do much DMG, it is not the central part of her kit. It should only be used as a panic heal button.

Ascension 1 Passive: Agony Alone May Be Repaid

This passive is very important in single-target scenarios. It makes it so that defeating a marked enemy will grant 130% BoL. It means you would not lose out on BoL if an enemy dies before absorbing the mark. Waiting 5s before absorbing the mark would upgrade it to the next level and grant 130% BoL when absorbed. This part of the passive is irrelevant while fighting multiple enemies since there is a limit on the maximum BoL that can be obtained from one use of her Skill.

This passive is extremely relevant while fighting singular enemies, like bosses, since normally you could only gain 65% BoL from one marked enemy. Thanks to this passive, you can gain 130% BoL even against single enemies. This is not the same as the maximum of 145% but it is close enough. She can do 17 normal attacks before the Pyro infusion runs out.

Ascension 4 Passive: Strength Alone Can Defend

Arlecchino gains all elemental resistance based on her ATK, maxing out at 20% at 3000 ATK. This is helpful since she cannot be healed by allies in combat, at least she will take reduced DMG.

Utility Passive: The Balemoon Alone May Know

This passive is a huge trade-off. Arlecchino cannot be healed while in combat, but she gains a 40% Pyro DMG bonus. This is only 6% less than a Pyro DMG Goblet. This is much greater than the 33% Pyro DMG bonus that Hu Tao gains while being below 50% health. This is even greater than the Pyro DMG bonus granted when Kazuha Swirls Pyro. Even without a Pyro DMG Goblet or any external buffs, Arlecchino gains a 40% Pyro DMG bonus. This is not even an Ascension Passive, this is available even at level 1.

In exchange for this huge jaw-dropping buff, Arlecchino can only be healed by her Burst while in combat. She can be healed by allies/Statue of the Seven while outside of combat.

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Guide: Playstyle

Arlecchino’s playstyle revolves around marking enemies and absorbing marks to gain BoL and Pyro infusion. The main goal is to always have BoL over 30%. While fighting multiple enemies or waves of enemies, you simply do not have to worry about BoL as long as you use her Skill whenever it is available. You don’t even have to wait 5s before absorbing the marks while fighting groups of enemies since 1 marked enemy grants 65% BoL and at least 3 marked enemies will grant the maximum BoL possible.

One of the best things about Arlecchino is that her Pyro infusion does not run out based on a timer, rather it runs out if you hit enemies and deal DMG. She has very little downtime on her Pyro infusion.

Another one of the best things about her is that she can heal herself, and it is a massive amount of healing. She is extremely self-sufficient. She does not even rely on others for a DMG buff since she has an innate 40% Pyro DMG bonus. She does not need healers since her Burst is the only way to heal her.

• Use her Skill
• Cycle through supports/wait for 5s
• Charged attack
• Normal attack until Pyro infusion runs out
• Only use her Burst if you need emergency healing

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Guide: Materials

As a Pyro character, Arlecchino uses Agnidus Agate stones for ascension and they can be obtained from the Pyro Hypostasis and the Pyro Regisvine. Her other ascension material, Fragment of a Golden Melody can be obtained from the “Statue of Marble and Brass”. The boss materials for her talents can be obtained from The Knave weekly boss. Arlecchino’s kit revolves around scaling through ATK, with Crit and EM as sub-stats. Unfortunately for Arlecchino, her F2P-friendly weapons are very limited and there will be a significant damage difference as such. For weapons, you will mainly focus on any weapons that provide high Base ATK with a Crit sub-stat.

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Guide: Best Artifacts for Arlecchino

Arlecchino’s artifacts are fairly straightforward to farm and build. Arlecchino is mainly an ATK scaling unit and has a certain new mechanic added to her called the Bond of Life mechanic that takes away her HP to provide more enhanced damage.

As such you would only need to prioritize ATK-related scaling and buffs. You would want an ATK Sands, a Pyro DMG Goblet, and lastly a CRIT Circlet. Sub-stats you should look for are CRIT then EM and lastly ATK, with ER being a bonus, but not needed. Keep in mind that the Sands and Goblet can be inter-changeable depending on your build and team preference when using Arlecchino.

As for her ER target, it can vary from low to almost nothing. This is due to many factors, one of which is her Elemental Burst being a low Energy Cost so you’ll get it back fairly quickly depending on your team party and energy sources.

Another main factor is how her Elemental Burst is essentially less prioritized in her kit since it resets her kit’s mechanic and acts as a self-heal for her, similar to Hu Tao. You would only activate her Burst every 2 rotations or so. As such you should generally aim for 100%-130% ER with added Pyro party members.

Arlecchino has near permanent uptime of her Pyro infusion, which makes her ideal for almost any team that is based around Pyro reactions like Vaporise, Melt, Reverse Melt, and even Overload. C1: “All Reprisals and Arrears, Mine to Bear…”

At C0, Arlecchino gets knocked around easily. C1 grants her increased interruption resistance which makes her easier to play.

C2: “All Rewards and Retribution, Mine to Bestow…”

The marks received from her Skill will already be their upgraded version, which removes the need to wait for 5s. She also releases an AOE of Pyro DMG in front of her. She also gains increased resistance towards all elements.

C3: “You Shall Become a New Member of Our Family…”

Three additional levels to her Normal Attacks, which is the primary source of her DMG.

C4: “You Shall Love and Protect Each Other Henceforth…”

This constellation reduces the cooldown of her Burst whenever she absorbs the mark from her Skill. It also refunds energy to her which reduces her ER needs.

C5: “For Alone, We Are as Good as Dead…”

Three additional levels to her Elemental Burst, which is not very impactful since it is not a major source of her DMG. Even the healing from her Burst is fixed and not affected by levels.

C6: “From This Day On, We Shall Delight in New Life Together.”

This constellation increases her Burst DMG by 7x of her Bond of Life percentage. This is a nice DMG increase since her Burst is usually not a major source of her DMG. The second part of this constellation is the most impactful.

For 20s after using her Skill, her Burst and Normal attacks gain 10% more CRIT rate and 70% more CRIT DMG. This is huge, and it can be triggered every 15 seconds, so this buff will always be active.

Final Thoughts

C1 is a great quality-of-life upgrade, C2 removes the need to wait 5s after using her skill, and C3 adds three levels to the main source of her DMG. Any of these three constellations can be a great stopping point for free-to-play and low-spenders. C4 and C5 increase her Burst DMG and help her use it more often, but it is not very impactful.

C6 gives her Burst a huge multiplier but still, it is not the main source of her DMG. However, C6 also grants her a permanent CRIT rate/CRIT DMG buff which is a game changer. Generally speaking, C1/C2/C3 are the ideal stopping points. Do not go beyond C3 unless you are a whale who is planning to get C6.

Why you should go for Arlecchino or Lyney in Genshin Impact Version 4.6

The choice between Arlecchino and Lyney is purely personal. Arlecchino has been a very hyped-up character since as early as 1 year ago when the Winter Night’s Lazzo promotional video dropped on YouTube. She is a prominent member of the Archon Quest Fontaine Chapter’s cast.

Many players have been looking forward to her release as a playable character. As a Fatui Harbinger, she is more powerful than Tartaglia, the first-ever playable Fatui Harbinger, according to the in-game lore, and it is likely to be reflected in the gameplay as well. Lyney is a very powerful Pyro DPS who excels in Mono-Pyro teams.

Among the 4* characters, Xiangling is the only one to look out for. As for the 5* weapons, it is worth going for the Crimson Moon’s Semblance for Arlecchino if you are a whale. This weapon is also good for Xiao and Rosaria, although they are not able to take advantage of the passive effect.

The First Great Magic is an amazing weapon not just for Lyney but also for other charged attack DPS characters like Ganyu and Tighnari. Among the 4* weapons, Dragon’s Bane is great for EM build Raiden Shogun, while the Favonius Warbow is a very reliable choice for off-field support bow characters like Yelan.

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 update: Developers Discussion Highlights 

Treasure Compass

Anyone who has tried to 100% their exploration progress by using the treasure compass knows how annoying it is to follow the directions given by the compass. The treasure compass is supposed to make exploration easier, not unnecessarily time-consuming. To fix this issue, treasure compasses will now mark the location of nearby chests on the map.

Friend Nicknames

Most players give a nickname to their friends to make them easier to find. However, this nickname does not show up where it needs to, making it slightly pointless. Now, co-op requests will show the nicknames, which will help remove confusion.

New Avatars

So far, the only avatars available were the faces of obtained characters. From now on, completing certain quests will unlock an avatar. If the quest is already completed when version 4.6 goes live, the related avatar will be already unlocked.

Map Interface

The map interface is getting an upgrade. At the beginning, only the “show domain” toggle was available. After the TCG was released, the “search for players” toggle was added. Both of these toggles are now being transferred to a map settings menu where you can also toggle the custom markers. This is one of the things with the Developers Discussion in the Version 4.6 Update in Genshin Impact.

As more regions are added to the game, it is becoming increasingly annoying to have to scroll through the list on the map. The region selection menu will be more streamlined to make it easier to select the desired region.

Serenitea Pot crafting

Crafting furniture sets in the Serenitea Pot can get annoying since you have to manually keep track of all the pieces that are in the set. Now, it can be done with a single button.

Quests

Certain quests, most notably the Aranara questline from Sumeru have related quest items that need to be viewed. Some quests also require looking at maps or drawings that are in the inventory. From now on the related quest item will be shown in the quest menu itself.

Reputation quests are accepted from the NPC and then they show up in the quest menu. If many quests are active at the same time, it becomes difficult to find the reputation quests. Now, a red marker will be added to easily distinguish them.

Every player has faced this issue: when you’re trying to navigate a quest and it says a character/location involved in that quest is busy with another quest. A recent update made it so the name of the quest is shown to the players, but now a new button has been added which will free up the character/location from other quests.

The Focused Experience mode is a godsend for anyone who unlocks multiple quests at once, while the Treasure Compass upgrade is something that completionists have been begging for since the beginning.

Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Chronicled Wish: The Rules of Wishing

The rules for wishing on this banner are pretty complex.

• You need to spend Intertwined Fates for this banner, this is the same currency as the character and weapon banners
• Hard pity is 90 pulls
• Losing 50/50 once means the next 5* will be the desired one. Losing 50/50 grants 1 Fate point just like the weapon banner. Only 1 Fate point is required to guarantee the desired item
• You need to select which 5* character/weapon you want to pull for
• If you lose 50/50, you will get a 5* of the same type. This means if you selected a 5* character then you will get one of the other 5* characters from the pool. Likewise, if you selected a 5* weapon then you will get one of the other 5* weapons from the pool. It is possible to select an event-exclusive 5* character like Albedo and lose 50/50 to another event-exclusive 5* character like Klee. You will never get a weapon from losing 50/50 if you selected a character, and vice versa
• Pity count for this banner is counted separately from the character banners. For example, Chiori and Itto banners share the same pity count. If you made 40 pulls on the 4.4 banners then your pity for Chiori/Itto will be 40. However, your pity for Chronicled Wish starts from 0
• Pity count carries over when the Chronicled Wish banner changes. This is the first Chronicled Wish banner, if you make 50 pulls this time without getting a 5* when the banner changes you will still have 50 pity towards the next character/weapon from that banner
• Unfortunately, Fate points do not carry over to the next banner. If you lost 50/50 once, you better have enough pulls saved to get another 5* before the banner ends, or else it would have been a total waste

Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Chronicled Wish: Advantages

• This banner is the best way to obtain older 5* characters like Eula, Albedo, and Klee who have not had a rerun in a long while. Their banners were not selling well compared to most other 5* so their reruns were less frequent. Putting all of them in one banner is great for fans of them who were unable to pull for them. It also wastes less time and makes the rerun cycles quicker so more desirable characters can get their reruns sooner
• This banner is currently the only way to obtain standard characters on guarantee. Normally, there is no way to pull for a certain standard character. It is a matter of a toss of the die. If you never got to pull Jean from the standard banner or lose 50/50 to her from the character banners, this is the only way you can obtain her on a guarantee.
• This banner is currently the only way to obtain Beacon of the Reed Sea and Hunter’s Path. These are the signature weapons of Dehya and Tighnari, both of whom are now available in the standard banner. These weapons received their rate-up banners when these characters were first released, but then the weapons were never made available again. These weapons are good not just for Dehya and Tighnari but also for several other characters
• The best thing about this banner is that it makes weapons much easier to obtain than the actual weapon banner. The weapon banner has a hard pity of 80 pulls but requires 2 Fate points to get your desired weapon: meaning you need to lose 50/50 twice to get your desired weapon. That’s 80×3 = 240 pulls to get your desired weapon on guarantee. This banner has a hard pity of 90 but it only requires 1 Fate point, meaning you need 90×2 = 180 pulls to get your desired weapon on guarantee.

Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Chronicled Wish: Disadvantages

• Currently, the banner does not feature any must-pull characters or weapons
• The fact that Fate points do not carry over makes this banner extremely avoidable unless you have around 160 pulls to guarantee your desired character/weapon. Normally in the character banners, you could lose 50/50 in the 4.4 banners but rest easy knowing that Chiori/Itto would be guaranteed in 4.5. You simply do not have that luxury with this banner
• There are 3 standard characters and 3 event-exclusive characters. There is a really good chance of losing 50/50 to a standard character. It would feel extremely frustrating to lose 50/50 to a standard character when the banner also features event-exclusive 5* characters. No one wants to lose to Diluc when they could have lost to Eula
• There are too many standard weapons in the pool which makes it more likely that when you lose 50/50, you will obtain a standard weapon that you could have obtained from the standard banner or the regular weapon banner. At least for the character pool the number of event-exclusive and standard characters is even
• Another baffling thing about the weapon pool is that it does not contain the Primordial Jade-Winged Spear, which is Xiao’s signature best-in-slot weapon. Xiao is the only event-exclusive character whose signature best-in-slot weapon is available in the standard banner. It makes no sense that it is not available on this banner
• This banner requires Intertwined Fates, which puts pressure on your savings for the character banners

Final Thoughts

• DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES pull on this banner if you do not have around 160 pulls saved up. It simply isn’t worth wasting the Fate point if you lose 50/50
• ONLY pull on this banner if you desperately need/want a certain character/weapon. Otherwise, pull on the regular character banners

• Adventure Rank 20 or above
• Complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom“
• Complete Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act V “Masquerade of the Guilty” and Eula’s Story Quest “Aphros Delos Chapter: Act I” first to get the best experience from this event.

If the requirements are met, the event quest will be available on the journal or it can be accessed from the events page. Navigate the quest and talk to Lisa at the Knights of Favonius Library. The event location will be unlocked afterwards. This location can be teleported to.

How to play the Genshin Impact Alchemical Ascension Event

The goal of this event is to cultivate ingredients that will be used to concoct potions which will be sold to earn revenue. The event rewards are given based on the total revenue earned.

Cultivating Ingredients

Different cultivation areas can be assigned ingredients separately. After a certain number of operation cycles, your ingredients will mature and can be harvested. Once you complete this harvest, the cultivation area will automatically cultivate the previously selected ingredients. The cultivation progress of ingredients will not be saved, if you change the ingredients, assigned to the cultivation area.

After your Alchemy Level increases, you can unlock more cultivatable ingredients.
You will also be able to go to Freda to buy cultivation area expansion, allowing you to cultivate more ingredients at the same time.

Concocting Potions

At the start of every operation cycle, you will be given a grid and ingredients that will come in different shapes. The goal is to pick and arrange the ingredients to cover as much of the grid as possible and increase the tuning rate to 100% or beyond.

You can buy improved alchemy cauldrons from Freda.

Selling Potions

Head over to the potion stall to stock potions to be sold. Check the market news to know which kind of potions are selling well and stock those kinds of potions. The type of the potion is shown next to its name.

After stocking potions and harvesting ingredients, go to Lisa and click “end cycle.” This will end the current operation cycle. In the next cycle, revenue earned from sales will be added to your wallet and ingredients will be ready to be harvested.

Genshin Impact Alchemical Ascension Event: Rewards

This event gives primogems and other rewards for completing several goals:

• Revenue reaches a certain threshold
• Reach a certain Alchemy Level 
• Stock a certain number of potions for sale
• Expanding cultivation area a certain number of times
• Upgrading the Alchemy Cauldron a certain number of times

Genshin Impact Chiori Guide: Breakdown of Chiori’s Constellations

C1: Six Paths of Sage Silkcraft

This constellation increases her Doll’s attack range. The mere presence of another Geo character at the party is enough for her to summon her second Doll. There is no need for a Geo construct. This enables Chiori to reach her full potential even when paired with Geo characters who cannot summon constructs, for example, Navia.

The Doll can also trigger the Geo DMG bonus from her Ascension 4 passive all by itself.

C2: In Five Colors Dyed

Using her Elemental Burst will summon another Doll called Kinu. This Doll will disappear after attacking once or after staying in the field for 3s. Kinu’s DMG is 170% of Tamoto’s but it only attacks once. Kinu will be summoned every 3s for 10s after using her Burst, a total of 3 times. Kinu’s DMG counts as Elemental Skill DMG and since the summoned dolls are her biggest source of DMG, this constellation encourages players to use her Burst every rotation.

C3: Four Brocade Embellishments

Three additional levels to her Elemental Skill, the biggest source of her DMG.

C4: A Tailor’s Three Courtesies

Kinu can now be summoned by her Elemental Skill as well. For 8s after using her Skill, whenever her normal/charged/plunging attacks hit enemies, 1 Kinu can be summoned every 1s, up to a total of 3. She needs to play as an on-field DPS.

C5: Two Silken Plumules

Three additional levels to her Elemental Burst, which is nice to have.

C6: Sole Principle Pursuit

After double-tapping her Skill, or using a normal attack after her Skill, the cooldown will be reduced to 4s. Her normal attack (but not charged or plunging attack) DMG is increased by 235% of her DEF. This constellation, working in tandem with her C4 can potentially change her playstyle.

Chiori can gain a 5s Geo infusion if she uses a normal attack after her Skill. She can keep the Geo infusion by using her Skill again thanks to the reduced cooldown.

Final Thoughts

If played as an off-field support, C1, C2 and C3 are very valuable constellations to have. C4 might look attractive at first, but Chiori needs to be on-field for the additional summons of Kinu, which makes it not very useful for an off-field playstyle. If played as an on-field DPS, all of her constellations especially C4 and C6 are extremely valuable. Her C6 is what makes her a viable on-field DPS.

None of her constellations are required, she is a perfectly functional unit at C0. However, C1 or C2 is a great stopping point for free-to-play or low-spenders who plan to play her as an off-field support. Do not try to play her as an on-field DPS before her C4, it is not worth it.
