Free Fire has reshaped its esports events in 2024 as per the latest roadmap. As a part of it, the regional finals for the H1 2024 are taking place. Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 Split 1 is going to kick off its most anticipated phase, the Grand Finals, on the 22nd of May. With a huge prize pool and slots for the Esports World Cup 2024, the LATAM stage is ready to welcome the top teams.
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 Split 1: Schedule and Format
Just after the announcement of the roadmap, the regular phase started. After a long battle and much drama regarding team elimination and promotion, the grand final is now ready to happen. After the end of the group phase on the 22nd of May 2024, the qualified teams will be ready to battle in the most hyped part of the tournament.
With a total of 12 teams, the grand finals will take place at a later date that is yet to be announced. Teams will fight each other throughout the different maps of Free Fire for 8 rounds. Based on the performance and elimination points, the top team will be crowned as the champion.

A total of 18 teams will be fighting for the championship title in the event. However, only 12 will go for the grand finals stage. Ahead of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024 in Riyadh, the top 3 teams will qualify and book tickets for the grand event. The list of the participant teams is as follows.

Prize Pool
Based on the intensity of a particular region, the prize pool is different in each. The event of Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 Split 1, however, is featuring a total of $100,000. The allocation is given below:

While this stands as the prize pool for the grand finals, the distribution for phases 1 and 2 is a bit different. Focusing on the grand finals, being the most hyped part of the event, the allocation of the respective stages is a bit lower than the grand finals. Apart from that, the best teams of each week will receive a $1,100 bonus and MVP Final will receive $800.
Where to watch the FFWS LATAM 2024 Split 1
Though the event is the regional final of Split 1, it will take place online. Thus the entire event will be broadcast live on several platforms. On the official YouTube and Facebook channels of Free Fire Esports Latam, fans can enjoy the tournament live.
