ECHO has been crowned as the M4 World Championship with a perfect score, demonstrating its value in gold! Blacklist International had the new champions’ backs against the wall in the Lower Brackets, but they proved they were in it for the win by beating them with a 4-0 score, defying all odds, and giving the team a Cinderella run.
“We’re really proud of this accomplishment and thankful for the support of our friends, family, and fans,” stated Mitch Liwanag, Country Manager, ECHO, “The team has come a long way from qualifying to M4, and this win marks a great start to our year. We will continue to work hard to prove the naysayers wrong and continue to be the greatest of all time.” The win also marked a pivotal moment for Sanford and Sanji, who made epic breakthroughs on their first international stage, and for Karltzy by winning the championship twice.
Bennyqt of Echo, who dominated the tournament with his solid play on the gold lane, took home the title of Final MVP. By focusing on Hadji and Oheb and cracking the code with their draught picks, the champs were able to defeat Blacklist’s renowned UBE approach.
ECHO will walk away with the majority of the $800,000 total prize money, the option to select the MLBB M4 winner’s championship skin, a UBS-exclusively designed gold ring, medal, and an exclusive champion’s tour organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
