The top-tier domestic event of Free Fire Esports in Brazil concluded last night with a new champion on the throne. LOUD has grabbed the Liga Brasileira de Free Fire (LBFF) 2022. One of the most successful teams in the Brazilian Free Fire Esports scene, LOUD, again secured a slot in Free Fire Esports’ grand event, the Free Fire World Series 2022.
Another powerhouse, Team Keyd, became the runner-up, while last year’s champion Fluxo finished fifth. Thus, World Series 2022 won’t be able to see the team in action. Instead, Keyd will take the play-in stage slot this time. Surprisingly, the champion of the group stage, B4 eSports, couldn’t even reach the top 10 among the twelve teams. They finished on the 11th.
LOUD remained constant throughout Liga Brasileira de Free Fire (LBFF) 2022
The event started on 5 February, and after a long battle among the best 18 teams in the country, the top 12 advanced to the grand finals. A total of 9 rounds were played in the finals. Champion LOUD picked up the very first BOOYAH! of the day. The next two rounds went to Magic Squad’s pocket and made things intense.
LOUD was very consistent throughout the whole event, and it became certain that they were going to be the champion after the 8th match. However, Keyd pushed their best in the last two matches to touch LOUD but failed. Showing outstanding domination, the runner-up took the previous two rounds in a row with a whopping 17 frags in the last match.
After all the calculations were done, LOUD became the champion with 137 total points, including the highest kill number of 60. Keyd took second place with 111 total points. Maintaining a 7-point gap, MGS finished third. LOUD was the runner-up of World Series 2021 Singapore. As this year’s event is crawling near, the team will be ready to represent Brazil on the global stage, and so do Keyd.
