Tencent Games recently released the new beta update. Its the PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 Beta version which is now available to play. PUBG mobile has a large player base and the developers ensure new features and changes to keep the players engaged and excited. The new version is bringing quite a lot of features like snow in Erangel, death race game mode, TPP to FPP switch etc. So let us see what’s new in PUBG mobile 0.16.0 beta.
1. TPP-FPP Switch
A large number of players have been waiting for this update. Now you can easily switch from the Third person viewer mode to First-person viewer mode while in-game according to your choice. For being able to switch your view, you need to enable the FPP Swap option which will be available on the basic settings screen as shown in the screenshot above.
This allows a player to switch from TPP to FPP view in-game just by a click of a button.
2. Healing/Boost Movement
Another update includes movement while healing in the game. Till now, when a player had to heal, he needed to stop. However, in the new update 0.16.0 Beta, the game has added a feature where the player can heal while moving.
But there is a catch. The movement speed of the player is not similar to the normal speed. The movement speed reduces when you are healing. However, this is a major change which will be helpful to the players in-game in tough situations as they can now heal while moving.
3. Copy your Classic HUD to Team Death Match
Previously, players had to set up their HUD differently for Team Death Match and Classic mode gameplay in the game. The game has now added a feature where you can copy your classic HUD to the Team death Match HUD as and when you want. This will reduce the time you need in setting up the HUD 2 times.
4. New Mode- Snow and Ice
In the Beta version, snow and ice appear randomly on different spots in Enrangel. There are new features which include Ice Castle Lobby, Ski lift on each snow location and one special loot crate on each location.
Pochinki Hills, GeorgePool Hills, Stalber will be covered by snow. All of these locations will also have a special loot crate available. A player will get high tier loot in these locations as compared to other locations. There will also be a ski button available on the screen which allows you to ski on ice.
5. New mode and Map: Death Race
A new game mode has been added to the game which is called as Death Race. Death race Features a new map as well. You can move around in a vehicle with your friends and shoot them down with your weapons.
A player has to collect several crates which appear on the map while hunting down the opponents. This is a fun mode which will allow players to practice their driving skills as well as shooting skills when they are moving in a vehicle.
6. Vehicle Workshop
PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 beta is introducing a totally new feature! Vehicle workshop, just like the racing games. Players will be able to customize their vehicle with different colours and other features. Players will need various parts to upgrade the vehicle features. These parts can be bought from the shop.
These are all the features that we know so far. There can be some changes in features when the actual update arrives.
