The post Clash Heroes faces uncertain future as Clash website redirects to Clash Mini Closure Notice appeared first on GamingonPhone.
]]>The history of Clash Heroes dates back to 2021 when Supercell announced that the Clash World is expanding into 3 new games with Clash Quest and Clash Mini being the other two.
Just after a year, Clash Quest development was stalled citing “high standards”, but Clash Mini was one of the three games in the pipeline for a 2024 launch alongside Squad Busters and mo.co before it also bid goodbye amidst a huge community uproar against the decision.
I remember the game having a high ceiling and was also deemed the game that might be the next big hit from Supercell that fans have been waiting for, given the fantastic combination of real-time strategy and action-packed combat on beautiful maps, a formula that Supercell found success with Brawl Stars. Sadly, that seems to be a distant dream now.
If you click on the clash dot com website, well, you are in a surprise. You will find a surprising announcement about the shutdown of Clash Mini. Although Clash Heroes isn’t mentioned anywhere in the post, maybe we have seen the end of it. The last update for Clash Heroes was in 2021, raising doubts about whether Supercell is continuing its development or if it has been quietly shelved.
Rush Wars, Everdale, Clash Quest, Boom Beach Frontlines, Floodrush, which were within three months of its announcement, Clash Mini, and now most likely Clash Heroes. A long list of games has faced the axe over seven years now. Well, surely a sad state of affairs.
In these names, definitely, there are some names that you would think “this should have been a hit” but the developers had other plans. There might be many internal reasons behind killing a game, but this doesn’t please the fans. Despite the long silence, there’s always a glimmer of hope that Supercell might revive Clash Heroes in the future.

]]>The game features a unique combination of real-time strategy and action-packed combat. The game is developed in Unreal Engine, which means in the future, we might be getting fully-fledged Clash Universe scenarios without a drop in quality as we see the Archers, Barbarians, etc. in action. The Arena is the place where players engage in battle. The arena could be of terrains and mountains as seen in the game.
Following a gameplay style similar to Brawl Stars, a top-down approach, we see heroes battling out in the arena with a lot of emphases given to the moves and the way the player executes them. Having two types of moves for a hero having one as a special one, it’ll allow users to use them accordingly and in scenarios where you have powerful enemies. Heroes play a crucial role in fast-paced battles, as they can turn the tide of battle with their powerful abilities.
Playing with friends also is something gamers like, and Clash Heroes allows the players to take down enemy factions with their team. Customization options are beneficial for the players to change the look of their favorite hero into something stylish or dapper that would look cool in the game. So, what else is going to make this Supercell title a hit?
Who doesn’t love action games? Most of the popular games are of the action genre. With a lot of new games coming in the genre, it doesn’t take away the shine from the already existing games. The competition is high, but the distributed fanbase and the love of the genre make it safe to place your foot on if you are a Game Developer.
Clash Heroes’ particular focus isn’t only on the action elements the game has, but it also covers other aspects that a gamer would enjoy. It is not that hardcore action with too many bullets flying around, but on beautiful maps where the characters engage in duels. It becomes more fun with friends, and with a good gameplay experience, you’ll never know how time will pass.
The reason behind this is simple, after Brawl Stars, Supercell hasn’t seen a major hit because all their releases were similarly themed, and due to this, the developments had to be stopped. Falling prey to this was Clash Quest’s development halt since the game didn’t meet Supercell’s “high standards”. The other clash game, Clash Mini seems to be very made for a niche audience as auto-chess games are not preferred by the large audience.
The last one in this clash series, Clash Heroes shows decent potential. Although the gameplay is not something entirely new, it carries the old clash vibe (from what we could infer from the leaked details). Considering the game is bringing multiplayer and possibly coop features, it has all the elements to be the flagbearer for the Clash IP in the future. So Clash Heroes could be the key to opening the loot of success.
There can be other games rising the charts soon, with Squad Busters being in the works from Supercell. A gameplay similar to Brawl Stars, it also has those action elements that make it unique. It brings all the Supercell characters to the game, and the closed beta tests running live now. However, from the first impression of the game it does not feel like the same level of Clash Heroes. Once again, it shows that the makers are banking on the clash universe, and it can be their winning factor.
Supercell’s winning formula has been the strategy genre without a doubt. Clash of Clans has been immensely popular for the strategic elements packed with a punch of action, the idea behind it was very unique and that has been the key to its success.
Yes, Brawl Stars have been another out-of-the-box idea, and Clash Royale is also a differently designed tower defense game. All these names are part of the “List of successful games” book, but they all have something in common, the Characters.
Supercell has managed to create a universe revolving around the characters first introduced in Clash of Clans. Since then, the Clash Universe has only expanded, and characters from the Clash Universe by Supercell appear in almost all games. It has been a popular strategy to introduce characters that can be used in any game from the company in the future.
This might seem repetitive, but it will be brilliant to see the same character featured in a strategy game and then in a different look, come live in an action game. It will allow each character to have their backstory, something which we won’t see in many games.
Clash of Clans and Clash Royale both allow customization at a pretty good level. Supercell MAKE campaign also allowed players to create custom skins for Brawl Stars. Following the same pattern is Clash Heroes, with many skins on offer which can be purchased via gems. This adds that uniqueness to a particular character and is essential in upping the overall approach. Although they have begun with limited characters, a lot of the locked skins are awesome.
For example, the Wizard can be customized from a magician to a trader or even a robot, and all it depends on what choice the player wants to have. The package this game offers as a whole is impressive and can make people turn heads. We wish to see more freedom on the designs, but we don’t have to stall the idea as Supercell might get it included too.
More arenas help to avoid the repetition of the scene and hence enhance the view of the game when you play it. Arena skins are also present in Supercell games throughout, which help in having a different feel each time. We might see come to the game during or after launch as the makers will be aiming to keep it for a better user experience.
Clash Heroes certainly has all the ingredients to be a hit among fans of the Supercell franchise and the strategy-action genre. The initial gameplay has been promising, and even though they’ve been lagging behind with the release, it is only a matter of time before we get this game in our hands. Only time will tell if it will reach the level of success of Supercell’s other games, but for now, the signs are really promising.

Clash Heroes is the next game among the host of Supercell games being discussed. After a closed alpha test with just a few hundred players, the game is now moving on to Public Alpha. The development team is still refining the gameplay, features, and world-building.
Although, there is no exact time frame for when the game will be available in public alpha. Interested players can also sign up on the website for the latest updates. This could also help them to get their hands on the Alpha as early as possible.
Finally, Clash Quest is the only game out of the trio to be available to players as part of its soft launch phase. As part of updates, a lot of new content has already been added to the game. Although now, the game has a new update on Clans, as a part of the November Patch Notes 2021! Players can play with their friends in clans and fight in Clan Leagues! Not only that, there’s a new boss called Bone Bros as well, along with a new troop called Bomb Miner. Doom Dragons and Scared Skellies are also being added into the game with a new region called Boneyard Beach. A few, new magic items are also listed below:
But Supercell has not stopped at that yet. ]]>Supercell has already said that Clash Heroes will feature characters from the Clash universe with the introduction of some new ones. After the tweet had resurfaced, an in-game notice showed that the pre-alpha test server had been available from the 21st of July to the 27th of July. Supercell had also strictly prohibited the players not to discuss the game content outside the playtest. Although, there is some information on the look of our favorite characters, skins, and spells, which will be used in Clash Heroes.
Barbarian appears as a male kilt-clad warrior with an angry, battle-ready expression, hungry for destruction. Clash Heroes will feature this character and they’re also bringing some outfits for the characters. There is a default skin and four more skins for the barbarian. We don’t know if the abilities of barbarians are upgradable or not, but we hope so that they are. However, players will have to spend gems to buy or upgrade to a new skin level.
This cute female warrior has sharp eyes and is very destructive with her bow and arrows. Nothing makes them happier than single-mindedly taking down their target. Archer is coming with 5 skins other than the default one. With the up-gradation of her skin, she will look more truculent.
The wizard shoots fireballs or energy blasts that do high damage. Although this character hides his long and messy hair under his hood, that does not hide from the enemies. Like the archer, he is also coming with 5 skins and a default one.
Remember the wall-breaker from Clash of Clans? He is coming into Clash Heroes with a new name of ‘Bomber’! He is good at throwing bombs to defeat the enemies and finds his satisfaction by it. This character will have 3 skins and a default one.
Royal cook is a male character and he is one of the new characters introduced in the game. As of now, we are not aware of his ability yet. He has three skins along with a default one. Along with that, we have Explorer who has been newly introduced to the game. A female with a lasso in her hand and a backpack in the back. She seems to be a perfect adventurer.
Spells are consumable items. One buys them with elixir and can use them as many times as one can buy them. For example, if a player buys 2 heals, he can only use the heal spell twice, until he buys more. Spells are upgradable to increase their abilities. As a part of the Clash Heroes Pre-Alpha test leaks, we have a number of spells that will be introduced in the game.
The name says it all. It casts a healing aura that restores HP both instantly and over time.
A tornado spell causes a violently rotating column of air.
The Lightning spell zaps nearby enemies and inflicts a shock!
The earthquake spell unleashes a seismic wave that damages and inflicts dizzy surroundings.
The rage spell does increase the attack speed and blood pressure of the player as well!
The Freeze spell inflicts FREEZE on nearby enemies, who take extra damage.
In this section, we will be discussing all the things we’ve noticed during the Clash Heroes Pre-Alpha Test.
The Clash Heroes map displays Patrols. These can be selected to go on adventures. The map shows how many stages are in one Patrol. In this case, there are 3 levels.
Clash Heroes Pre-Alpha Test uses a login system where if players were whitelisted, players have to simply enter the email of the whitelisted account.
Once the “Resume” or “Begin” option is selected on the Map, the player is brought to this screen. This is known as the Pre-Game lobby. Each circle at the bottom represents a stage. Currently, the picture shows Level 1. The player must hit “GO” to begin the level and start attacking!
Apart from the above-mentioned menus, there are others such as ‘Journal’ which shows unlocked Heroes, Runes and Spells. There is the main menu to control everything in the game and to jump into other options. A Hero Selection menu is present to select heroes with which players want to go to a fight.
As of now, there are no exact details that have been revealed about enemy lists. But instead, here is a picture that can help one to understand what enemies might be on the path while exploring new places. There are some known heroes from Clash of Clans that are featured as the enemy here. Along with that, a number of new characters are also seen in the game. Let us know your thoughts on the enemy lists, which you might want to see.
After players beat a Patrol, they get rewards! Builder Points is something by which players can upgrade their wagon. Upgrading a wagon is like upgrading a town hall. Players must unlock the ability to level up heroes higher, gain new spells, and ability to unlock new hero pieces. There are also Gems that can be used to buy Hero Skins and Gold, which is used for various things, similar to the elixir. The last two things are Runes which are the Healing Rune and the Cooldown Rune.
These are all we have found after taking a deep look inside the pre-alpha leaks in Clash Heroes. After the completion of the early beta, it will soon launch its beta. Supercell has always looked forward to entertaining its players by providing a quality gameplay experience. As of now, there is no announcement regarding the final release of the game.

]]>Clash Heroes is one of the three new games announced by Supercell today. In Clash Heroes, players will embark on a top-down journey with their favourite Clash characters to complete epic quests. The journey is set in a different setting to provide unique adventure gameplay experiences.
Developed with Unreal Engine, Clash Heroes gameplay looked similar to Brawl Stars’ in the first look. Supercell’s approach to top-down gameplay was quite successful with Brawl Stars and it seems they are bringing that to another game. Players can either play single-player or co-op with friends up to 3 persons to fight against regular enemies and sometimes bosses like Goblin Giant. From early gameplay footage, it is also confirmed that the Clash Heroes characters will have a regular attack and a power attack. Another thing worth mentioning here is that Supercell aims to provide worthy gameplay experiences even if the gameplay session is as short as 5 minutes.
Majorly filled with the Clash characters, Supercell plans to add some brand new characters to the Clash Heroes’ roster. And we can already see one character who is not from the Clash universe. From the early gameplay footage, the following characters are confirmed,
The most interesting part about the Clash Heroes characters are their brand new outfits. The old wizard or even the tiny bomber, they just became super cool with their next level outfit customisations.
Since the game is still in development, Supercell has not confirmed any official release date yet. Looking at Supercell’s previous game releases, the game will soft-launch in limited regions first and then depending on the quality standards and feedbacks, the developers will set a global release date. We’ll make sure to update this space as we get to know the release date of Clash Heroes.
Clash Heroes is yet to soft-launch. So, currently, there are no ways a player can download and play Clash Heroes. However, there are high chances that Supercell will start the regional beta soon. And once the regional beta starts, players can download and play Clash Heroes. But until then, players can head over to the official website and do the pre-registration. Lucky players will get the chance to participate in the beta (if there’s any).
