SuperGaming, the foremost game developer in India, announces that its forthcoming Indo-Futuristic battle royale game, Indus, garners more than 10 million pre-registrations through Google Play for Android devices. This achievement comes after the company’s closed beta program in February, where Android users had the opportunity to experience the game firsthand.

SuperGaming celebrates 10 million pre-registrations for Indus with exciting rewards

To mark this significant achievement, SuperGaming is expanding its beta program by distributing 200,000 beta keys. Alongside this expansion, fresh rewards such as distinctive skins, charms, and additional items will be introduced. Players have the opportunity to explore Virlok, the map within Indus, and immerse themselves in the gaming action using their devices.

The Indus Battle Royale Beta offers a comprehensive battle royale experience, incorporating various new features that have been refined through past Indus Community Playtests, the Indus Esports Invitational, and the recently concluded Indus Unchained Esports Tournament.

To acquire Indus Beta keys, individuals need to register on the official Indus Beta key website, indusbeta.com, and join the waiting list. Once they obtain an Indus Beta key, they must redeem it on the same website. Upon doing so, players will receive unique exclusive cosmetic items, solidifying their position as early supporters of the game. These items will not be accessible during the game’s launch phase.

SuperGaming’s Indus engine boosts gameplay on budget Android phones

Powered by the Indus Engine, SuperGaming’s proprietary technology stack, Indus presently achieves frame rates exceeding 40fps on low-end Android devices from 2022 equipped with 4GB RAM, albeit with certain visual elements like environments and shadows toned down according to internal evaluations. In internal testing, 2023 Android flagships hit 60fps with all visual aspects pushed to their maximum settings.

This performance level renders Indus playable on smartphones retailing at approximately Rs. 8,000 (about $100), ensuring broad accessibility for gamers globally and creating a sizable market for its widespread adoption. SuperGaming remains committed to refining Indus for enhanced compatibility with additional low-end devices, aiming to accommodate most smartphones purchased from 2020 onwards with satisfactory frame rates.

Indus is now available for pre-registration on Google Play for Android.

SuperGaming’s highly anticipated battle royale title Indus Battle Royale Mobile finally brought to us the closed beta this February 2024 and since then, players have been ecstatic to know more about the features of the game. One of the features that is pretty unique is the Grudge System, which I will explain what it is and how it works in Indus.

Speaking about the game, Indus is SuperGaming’s India-inspired battle royale title, initially scheduled for release in 2022. Since the initial trailer was launched, the game achieved remarkable milestones, where in February 2023 it crossed over a million registrations, and later confirmed over 7 million pre-registrations during the announcement of the inaugural Esports Invitational tournament in October 2023.

The grudge system allows you to take revenge against a rival in Indus

Starting off, the Grudge System in Indus allows you to either become a Legend or an Outlaw. The itself gives you a hint on what it is, taking grudges. This system keeps track of your kills and who you’ve been killed by.

You can use it to hunt down those who have defeated you before or to defend yourself from past enemies. Whether you want revenge or just want to win battles, Indus lets you create your own story, one fight at a time.

Cosmium win in Indus Battle Royale

Now that I have explained the system, let me tell you how the Grudge System works. When you’re beaten by another player in a match, you can choose to hold a grudge against them. If you do, you’ll be matched with them more often in future matches, and hence you can write a perfect cold-blooded revenge story within the game.

In the next match, if you manage to defeat the player who beat you before, you’ll get rewards like new looks for your character or other cool stuff. The game also has a special way to win called the Cosmium win condition. It means you don’t have to be the last player standing to win.

Players can still sign up for the Indus closed beta

If you have missed out on the closed beta, don’t worry. You can still sign up on the official Indus Beta key site, indusbeta.com, to join the waitlist. Give the details such as Contact, OS, Brand, and City, and click on submit. Upon receiving an Indus Beta key, proceed to redeem it on the website, noting that keys are available in limited quantities.

The pre-registrations are open for Android on the Google Play Store. The release date of the game hasn’t been announced yet, so players who don’t get the opportunity to play the Closed beta will have to wait for a while for other tests or an official release.

What are your thoughts on the Indus Battle Royale Grudge System? Let us know in the comment section below!

Battle Stars has just received its inaugural Diwali 2023 update, introducing fresh content such as the Delhi Diwali map and a new hero inspired by Techno Gamerz, a prominent gaming YouTuber in India. The update is currently available for players to experience.

Battle Stars Continues to evolve with the Diwali 2023 update

In the latest update to Battle Stars, the Delhi map undergoes a transformation into a night setting, featuring illuminated paths with lights and diyas. The conventional loot boxes are replaced by gift boxes, and grenades take on the form of sutli bombs. In the spirit of Diwali, the entire map is adorned with decorations and rangoli.

Adding to the excitement, a new hero joins the game, drawing inspiration from India’s top gaming YouTuber, Techno Gamerz, also known as Ujjwal Chaurasia. Modeled after Chaurasia’s favorite character, Agent 47 from the Hitman series, this legendary rarity hero exhibits a high rate of fire with the primary weapon and inflicts electrical damage over time with the secondary weapon.

This update builds upon the previous one, which introduced enhanced gameplay systems and mechanics, including Super Weapons, free legendary skins for each character, and Pro Controls. Additionally, every playable character in Battle Stars experiences a revamped progression and upgrade system. Before this update, Battle Stars incorporated Cricket World Cup-themed skins for some of its popular characters. Excitingly, Battle Stars has earned a nomination for the Google Play Users’ Choice Game of 2023.

The second season of Battle Stars has just wrapped up, featuring participants vying for the leaderboard’s top position to claim ultimate bragging rights. Over the course of four weeks, players in Battle Stars engaged in approximately 20 million matches, resulting in a staggering 41 million kills. The individual securing the number one spot on Season 2’s leaderboard accomplished this feat by participating in 5,662 matches.

Indus, a battle royale game made in India, will be playable in Fortnite. The gameplay, terrain, modes, and other aspects of Indus will be accessible to gamers on PC and macOS through Fortnite, as revealed during the India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) in Hyderabad in 2023. This was created in around 27 days by a two-woman team at SuperGaming utilizing Epic Games‘ Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

Indus in Fortnite will be a separate experience for PC and macOS in Fortnite Creator Mode

While Indus in Fortnite is a separate experience for PC and macOS in Fortnite Creator Mode, with a release date that will be announced soon, it is scheduled to launch on mobile devices alongside the Closed Beta this holiday season. Indus’ environments have been added to Fortnite, along with its Cosmium-focused win condition, which lets players win by seizing this special resource that appears on the map.

We learned, built, and created Indus with UEFN in about 27 days with no prior Unreal experience, This will allow us to test Indus’ gameplay with external audiences faster and give more gamers a chance to experience Indo-Futurism through their game of choice — Fortnite.

Christelle D’cruz, co-founder at SuperGaming

“At SuperGaming we firmly believe that India’s culture and talent demand the biggest possible stage for the world to see and play in,” says Roby John, CEO and co-founder at SuperGaming. “With Fortnite having an estimated 220 million monthly players globally, there’s no better way to bring Indus and Indo-Futurism to the world,” he added.

Gamers can voice their opinions about several parts of the game and influence how SuperGaming develops its most ambitious project to date. This is consistent with how SuperGaming developed MaskGun and Silly Royale, two of its biggest blockbusters.

With a constant focus on putting its users first, the well-known online shooter MaskGun has amassed over 80 million players since its introduction. As a result, some of its largest community members have been featured in-game and have helped celebrate Indian holidays like Diwali.

Battle Stars receives its October 2023 update, introducing enhanced gameplay features and mechanisms. These additions comprise Super Weapons, fresh legendary skins available for free for every character, and the introduction of Pro Controls. Additionally, the update brings a comprehensive overhaul of the progression and upgrade system for all playable characters in Battle Stars. Images are provided to illustrate these changes.

Battle Stars October 2023 Update: Key Highlights

Super Weapons

Probably the most exciting feature for players, an entirely new arsenal of OP weapons, unique for each hero has been introduced with this major update. Players can find Super Weapons unlocked for all heroes in the game and ready to use.

Super Weapons can be activated by dealing enough damage with their usual guns during matches. Super Weapons deal more damage to opponents and have further range and higher accuracy compared to primary weapons. Basically, everything a player needs to wipe out opponent squads within seconds. Not only are the Super Weapons really useful for players, but they also look super cool too.

40+ Upgrades for Each Hero

To make the entire player journey more exciting and rewarding, a robust upgrade and progression system has been brought into the game. With more than 40 upgrades available for each character, players can build their legend in a way that suits their playstyle. From damage, health, weapon range, skins, and many more perks, players now have much more control in leveling up their in-game avatars.

Pro Controls

After listening to our players, and content creators and having multiple playtests, the earlier Auto Shooting with Tap button has now been replaced with Drag and Aim shooting, known as Pro Controls in the game. With this, players get higher weapon accuracy and more control in their battles allowing for deeper and more fine-tuned gameplay.

Brand New Skin Tiers:

Battle Stars players can now defeat their opponents with swag and style. A fresh new look has been added for all the heroes with 4 new skin tiers

  1. Default (Base Skin)
  2. Rare (Looks Cool)
  3. Epic (Looks Cooler)
  4. Legendary (Looks Coolest)

The game has gone as far as providing players with complimentary access to various skins. To obtain these, one simply has to unlock a hero by gathering the necessary cards from gameplay reward crates or store crates. By advancing the character along its progression path, these fresh skins for matches can be unlocked. This development builds upon the prior update in Battle Stars, which introduced Cricket World Cup-themed skins for several of its beloved characters.
