The cinematic trailer was something that impressed me, it showcased intense action, and thus gave us the hint of deeper exploration within the rich storyline, unearthing exclusive secrets and revelations that exist within the game. From the snippets, the gameplay looks to be Super Smash Bros-inspired side-scrolling platformer action, with 3D graphics giving it an epic feel.

With multiple game modes and multiplayer options, every player can enjoy playing the games in no time. The quick-paced gameplay with 2-minute matches for on-the-go entertainment is something to look at, helping you to awesome battles with classic heroes under new action battle rules.

If you are from China, you can register for the game on the Haoyou Kuaidao app store or via the game’s official website. GamingonPhone reported earlier that Palworld’s developer, Pocketpair is actively hiring talents for a possible mobile version of Palworld. But seeing this coming from Tencent Games, which is known for creating hit mobile games, adds a different level of curiosity from the gamers community as well as the industry.

As per the latest reports from Bloomberg, TiMi Studios and Lightspeed Studios are working on multiple mobile titles similar to Palworld. And for that, they’re actively hiring people for many open positions. One of them even read it as a “fantasy adventure world with cute pets“ which signifies it is probably Palworld.

Tencent Games’ shift in its business strategy only makes more sense now

In a recently held earnings call, Tencent Games has confirmed its shift in the business strategy for its mobile games. As the competition arises across the globe for its mobile games, Tencent Games now aims to focus on fewer high-budget games that have successful IPs or have a proven track record within niche markets.

Tencent now sees Palworld’s success as a case study to build its games with the same survival crafting + monster taming mechanism at its core. It is expected that it will resonate with the massive mobile games crowd as the community eagerly anticipates a Palworld Mobile release.

Tencent also has Roco Kingdom in development

While many do not know, Tencent is also developing Roco Kingdom, a fantasy open-world game that mixes the elements of a Pokemon game with Genshin Impact. The game also had offline testing in China last December. Roco Kingdom is not exactly like Palworld, but looking at the trailer and art style (and Tencent Games at its back), I can confidently say that Roco Kingdom will probably be even better than Palworld.

Turning the clock a bit, around a year ago, Tencent Games revealed the first concept trailer for Assault Fire’s mobile iteration, dubbed NZ Mobile.

The game will feature various gameplay modes like exploration, dungeon challenges, mecha battles, hunting, and tower defense. Here, we take on the role of a time-traveling hero, exploring the open world, teaming up to conquer dungeons, and using advanced weapons and skills to defeat monsters. Players can engage in thrilling aerial and ground combat, pilot giant mechas, and even experience space exploration. While writing this, I can say that I’m genuinely excited about this game.

The visuals are stunning, immersing you in the world of 2071 within just a three-minute trailer. I notice it has some inspiration from Destiny 2 since I have played the game. The color palette is captivating and adds to the overall experience. From what I’ve seen, overall, it promises to be an action-packed sci-fi adventure, allowing players to live out their futuristic combat fantasies and embark on cosmic exploration.

Counter War: The Future will be having multiple rounds of testing this year

With Counter War: The Future pre-registrations now open, you can sign up for the same on the Haoyou Kuaidao app store. Simply scan the QR code via the App Client to complete the process, after which wait for updates as it is anticipated to commence multiple rounds of testing in 2024.

While there are no specifics regarding a global release yet, I believe it’s very likely that Tencent will aim to provide a global experience for such a high-scale game. Receiving the immense response, the devs couldn’t help but share many exciting things regarding the title’s future. The title has worked on gameplay design, clients, servers, art, project management, etc. to meet the needs of what the testers have asked for.

The latest gameplay update brings a new Havoc Warfare multiplayer mode. This is the whole experience that players get while playing. From the in-game mechanics to animations and game physics, everything is included and gets a refined touch.

Reworked maps, low-end device optimization, new operators, and gameplay improvements will boost the experience

So, all the players may not have the same specs or even the same platform. But the game considered everything and optimized the title in a way so that classic Delta Force players along with newcomers can enjoy the same. Players can engage in ground, air, and water combat, accessing a wide array of assault vehicles, helicopters, armored vehicles, attack boats, terrain vehicles, jeeps, pickups, fighter jets, and drones.

Speaking of the modes that the players can try their hand at in the new beta test as reported on X (formerly Twitter), in Extraction Mode you will be facing off against rival teams or AI-controlled mercenaries and royal guards, where you will undertake PvE missions in the Hazard Operations. Large-Scale PvP Mode, as the name suggests, will be taking place on a huge map where the action takes place.

In November 2023, Tencent Games, the publisher filed a trademark for Honor of Kings: World in India with the Trade Marks Registry, signaling the company’s plans for a release in the country. The trademark application, submitted on the 9th of November 2023, was marked for examination, with Tencent eagerly awaiting the status to proceed with its plans for introducing Honor of Kings: World to the Indian audience.

According to the information revealed in the application, it is evident that the filing made in November underwent verification two months later. As of January 1, 2024, the status of the application has advanced to Accepted and Advertised from Marked for Exam. Thus, from now on, we can confirm that HoK World is ready to continue other processes, and Tencent can begin with tests and necessary release timelines.

As mentioned earlier, Honor of Kings World will be a spin-off of the popular Honor of Kings IP. The game will be developed by TiMi Studio Group with Tencent Games taking the helm of the publisher. Tencent’s gaming studio shuts down, fueling speculation of a big makeover
