Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link aims to deliver an enthralling gaming experience

The game already had an iOS prototype test for the game in Japan which was conducted from January 13 to 18, 2023. Now with Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta tests applications underway, we are definitely inching closer to an official release which will be done next year in 2024. The developers have begun the recruitment of game testers in the regions mentioned. If you are interested and eligible you should definitely apply for it.

The CBT will run in two phases, one for iOS and another for Android. The closed beta testing for iOS will begin on 30th November 2023 at 7:00 AM (UTC) and will end on 8th December 2023. Similarly, the closed beta testing for Android is currently been planned for January 2024, no official information is available from the side developers as to when in January it will take place.

Hence you should make sure to follow them on their social media handles to make sure that you get the updates as to when the CBT for Android would take place. Another important thing to note is that the player data or player progress will not be allowed to be transferred to the official version that will be released later on. Thus players will not be able to transfer their player progress to the official version from the CBT version once it gets released.

The game as stated before is now available for CBT registrations in select regions if you are interested and eligible for the tests, you can definitely sign up for the tests. The game will officially be released in 2024 for both Android and iOS.

Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road Twitter handle shared the posts for the game

First announced during the 20th anniversary live stream of Kingdom hearts in April this year, Kingdom Hearts Missing Link has got several posts to their name now, that provide more details about the Missing Link closed beta test. The developers also made it clear that the game is still under development and is not the finished product of the game.

The developers however also through their message on social media discussed an event scheduled that they can look forward to playing through during the testing period. They also touched on the fact that players would be able to control their player movements in the game, that is, players can choose between “GPS” or “Pad” movement when playing the game.

GPS game movements are pretty simple players will have to physically walk to direct the player in the desired direction while the other would be the traditional in-game feature where via touching the screen the player would move.

The development team also shared a lineup of closed beta test events this January 2023, which is expected to include new bosses and locations in the game to discover along with many new battles thus marking a distinctive feature of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link

The release date for the game has not been announced yet but the game is in development and will be made available on mobile devices very soon depending on the results of the closed beta test.

There are specific prerequisite requirements that the applicants should fulfill in order to register for the Prototype Test. For example, the applicants must be living in Japan at that moment, and be 18 years of age or above, only about 1,000 testers will be accepted and they would have to specifically be Square Enix members. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link iOS Prototype test will run from January 13 to 18, 2023 in Japan.

Kingdom Hearts Missing Link brings a balance of Final Fantasy and Disney worlds.

According to the developers Square Enix, “Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link allows players to embark on adventures from the realm of Scala ad Caelum into the real world. Players will be able to engage in exhilarating battles against the Heartless and discover a new, original story.“

The game promises new adventures which would feature a roster of new characters from which you can select your hero and many more unique villains and bosses to test your mettle against. Not much information about customization and storyline is out yet, the game was officially announced at the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event on April 10, 2022.

Even though the trailer is in Japanese, it can be seen that the game will offer a beautiful journey where players will have to assemble the characters and fight off enemies and bosses in unique background settings.

Familiar landscapes from the first Kingdom Hearts game can be seen in the trailer which would give the Kingdom Heart fans something to cherish in the game. The gameplay reveal trailers were released together for Kingdom Hearts Missing Link and Kingdom Hearts 4. You can find the link to the trailer embedded in the video above (from 1:53 to 4:04).

Square Enix and Disney hosted the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event in Tokyo, Japan where together with fans, they celebrated the past 20 years of the beloved franchise and provided a first look at what’s to come next.

The event also featured a live music performance, a showcase of stained-glass artworks, and on-stage appearances from Series Director, Tetsuya Nomura, series’ composer, Yoko Shimomura, and other development members.

Players can also look forward to Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, an all-new game for iOS and Android devices, which allows players to embark on adventures from the realm of Scala ad Caelum into the real world. Players will be able to engage in exhilarating battles against the Heartless and discover a new, original story. A closed beta test is planned for 2022. This Closed beta test will be limited to specific regions.
