Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, an upcoming game developed by Square Enix will open its applications for the Prototype Test from now until December 26th in Japan. First announced during the 20th anniversary live stream of Kingdom hearts in April this year, the game will be released on both Android and iOS platforms. For now, the developers are making the prototype test an iOS exclusive.
There are specific prerequisite requirements that the applicants should fulfill in order to register for the Prototype Test. For example, the applicants must be living in Japan at that moment, and be 18 years of age or above, only about 1,000 testers will be accepted and they would have to specifically be Square Enix members. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link iOS Prototype test will run from January 13 to 18, 2023 in Japan.
Kingdom Hearts Missing Link brings a balance of Final Fantasy and Disney worlds.
According to the developers Square Enix, “Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link allows players to embark on adventures from the realm of Scala ad Caelum into the real world. Players will be able to engage in exhilarating battles against the Heartless and discover a new, original story.“
The game promises new adventures which would feature a roster of new characters from which you can select your hero and many more unique villains and bosses to test your mettle against. Not much information about customization and storyline is out yet, the game was officially announced at the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event on April 10, 2022.
Even though the trailer is in Japanese, it can be seen that the game will offer a beautiful journey where players will have to assemble the characters and fight off enemies and bosses in unique background settings.
Familiar landscapes from the first Kingdom Hearts game can be seen in the trailer which would give the Kingdom Heart fans something to cherish in the game.
