After last week’s rumours about the beta test program, finally Riot Games has stated that a limited alpha test for Wild Rift will take place in Brazil and Philippines next month for both Android and iOS devices. So let us take a look at the news in details.
The beta registration happened a week ago was just a bug
Earlier we had reported about the scene of Wild Rift beta registration that came to the gamers all of sudden. In this official tweet, Riot Games has clarified that it was nothing but a bug. And this mistake will most likely to cancel your previous pre-registration for Wild Rift. So Riot Games is suggesting you to pre-register for the game again if you had tried for the beta earlier.
Along with this, the official Wild Rift account has suggested not to try downloading the game. There is no possible way to download Wild Rift at this moment.
League of Legends Wild Rift Alpha is starting in June
While the other games like Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra are running on full form, it is time for Wild Rift to start rolling. Starting from June, Riot Games will start a limited alpha test in Brazil and Philippines. However, if you notice the statement, it is ‘limited-alpha’. So not everyone can probably get the game. You’ll have to be lucky to get that. Along with it, the developers will raise the system requirements to enter the alpha. So your phone will also have to be a good phone to install.
System requirements for Wild Rift alpha test
- Android: 1.5GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and Adreno 306 GPU
- iOS: iPhone 6 and above
The system requirements are little higher than what they have mentioned for the final release of Wild Rift. However, if this device requirements will stay for the final build is still unknown. Developers have mentioned that we will get to know more as they work on developing the game.
Wild Rift Alpha test release date
No dates have been mentioned so far. From the tweets we can read that the further information will be shared at the end of May. So make sure to keep an eye on all the official channels of League of Legends Wild Rift.
