The upcoming Wild Rift 5.1 Patch update is expected to bring about some big new changes and adjustments to the Rift. It has shaken up the meta, and with a new meta, comes a new tier list. The patch update would feature lots of different buffs for underpowered champions, and nerfs for overpowered champions, with some extra champion adjustments and balances to even things on the rift. Without further ado, let us get right into the Wild Rift Tier List for Patch 5.1!
Wild Rift Patch 5.1 Tier List: Ranked Season 13
The tier list will be separated into 5 categories S+, S, A, B, and C.
- S Tier: Strongest champions in the current meta.
- A Tier: Strong champions in the current meta but not as strong as champions in the S tier.
- B Tier: Champions in a balanced and healthy spot.
- C Tier: Champions who are only viable and strong in certain champion compositions

Baron Lane Tier List
Pretty Solid Baron lane champions like Renekton, Aatrox, and Ornn are quite powerful as they can dominate the lane while making lots of powerful contributions during teamfights. It is still noticed that the Monkey King Wukong is more durable and powerful than ever, but he continues to dominate the patch. Other worthy Tiers A meta champions are still very capable of making enemies tremble in their lanes.
Whilst lower-tier champions like Nasus continue to underperform even in the current patch updates and build adjustments.
Jungle
Ever since the release of the newest patch update, we can still find new champions like Kindred and Talon dominating the role as their powerful abilities and combos make it quite easy to complete and take objectives.
Kindred with the help of its dynamic passive and death immune ultimate sure makes it easy to take down enemy champions and seal the win whilst you and your teammates are taking main Jungle objectives.
Mid Lane
Ahri still dominates the mid-lane with her low cooldown and high burst skillsets. Coupled with the movement it provides, she’s very much capable of absolutely crushing enemies in the mid-lane.
Other champions like Vladimir, Kassadin and Akali still keep on dominating the mid-lane tier with their unique damage and burst skills. Coupled with their late-game scaling, they sure are quite hard to counter in the lane.
Attack Damage Carry (ADC) / Duo Lane
Even with previous adjustments, Caitlyn remains the queen of the ADCs. Her range and poking potential are off the charts. She can just stay in the backline, and dish out damage in an all-you-can-eat buffet. Her passive and her ultimate are both very dangerous and due to her traps, she is a marksman champion capable of dealing enormous damage whilst still playing safe from the backlines
Other champions like Lucian, Varus and Zeri are still very much broken as they can easily burst down enemy targets from long range within a short time, thus, making them all viable choices in the Duo lane
Support
Among the support units, Pyke has become a really powerful support champion. With his all-powerful Ultimate that executes low HP champions, he has become a very scary champion to face during teamfights. His other skillsets which grant extra sustain and damage have also further enhanced his utility on the Rift. Other champions like the tanky, hulking shipwreck which is Nautilus, are still very dangerous if he hook the player and dashes to the player. Players must void the hooks, at any cost.
Yuumi, on the other hand, has made the S-Tier, just by relaxing with her partner in the bottom lane. Any ADC becomes a better, boosted version of themselves. When they have a Yuumi attached to them, the only rule that the Yuumi should uphold is to be very careful, when she attaches and detaches from someone. If she manages that properly, she is excellent support.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the meta is quite balanced. No particular champion is essentially overpowered or underpowered. Once the new champions Kalista, Viego, and Maokai are released in the game, the tier list will be updated. Read more of our Wild Rift content in the meantime!
