The year 2020 has been a year of strategic and arcade games on mobile. This time its Brawlhalla, the famous fighting game on PC and console is finally making its way to mobile. Ever since it’s release on console and PC, the game has stood out and is recognized as one of the contenders for the best platform brawler games of its kind. Brawlhalla mobile port is now available for pre-registration on Android & iOS. The game is set for a global release on the 6th of August for now.
Ubisoft is releasing the Brawlhalla on mobile, to try and get as many mobile downloads in order to rise up as one of the most impressive Platform fighting game, not just on PC and console, but on mobile as well.
How will the Brawlhalla gameplay be like on mobile?
For those who aren’t familiar with the game on PC and Console, this is yet another platform fighting game that has over 40 million active players ever since its release, and the game supports over 8 players online in a single match, combined with complete cross-play.
You are at the liberty to join casual free-for-alls, ranked matches that are queued, or you might as well create a custom room for just you and your friends.
A downside about the game is that it brings about frequent updates. Updates are good, they add cool new features, but sometimes they ruin an existing one.
Will be mobile version be different from Console & PC versions?
The developers have promised that the mobile version of Brawlhalla is going to be exactly as that of the PC and console versions. They also mentioned that there will be full cross-platform support when the game launches on mobile.
Those key features are likely going to apply for modes such as 1v1, 2v2, and up to an 8 player Free for all and free for all brawl modes.
The game does have a similar look and feel to the popular Super Smash Bros. However, the game does present its own fair share of distinctive features.
One of the most interesting features of the game is the inclusion of popular characters from widely known franchises such as Hellboy, Shovel knight, and WWE.
There are over 50 unique characters and counting. Time for mobile users to join the fight for glory in the halls of Valhalla.
Brawlhalla mobile beta announcement
The developers announced a closed beta sign-ups in early 2020, and after having a significant number of interested players on mobile, they were forced to close the Beta sign-ups at an early stage. Of course, they didn’t want a lot of people getting their hands on the game before it even released. They released a statement regarding the issue as well.
