One of the most well-known mobile titles in the action MMORPG genre is Black Desert, created by the Korean studio Pearl Abyss. Seasonal holiday events are a trademark of the genre, therefore Black Desert Mobile will host a Halloween event for gamers across all platforms in 2023. The popular Spooky Playground of the mad scientist Marni will be returning to Black Desert starting in the third week of October for the Halloween event in 2023. Players of Black Desert will also have access to minigames and incentives that are available only on their platform, including the Mobile port.
The Halloween-themed event will last through the first week of November, allowing players plenty of time during the holidays to at least redeem a few login rewards. Console adventurers can also participate in a community screenshot contest by submitting screenshots with a Halloween theme.
Key Highlights of Black Desert Mobile Halloween events in 2023
During the Halloween season, Black Desert players on mobile devices can only take part in the Pumpkin Growing event, where they can earn daily Halloween Lucky Chests with a useful range of gifts. The event-specific item known as Premium Fertilizer is droppable from monsters in the Elion, Hadum, Chaos, Great Desert, Everfrost, Great Ocean, and Black Sun locations.
Each participant receives the event’s Report in their virtual mailbox. The Premium Fertilizers can be used to improve this pumpkin by a factor of up to 10, and the rewards they yield include:
- Chaos Jewels
- Abyssal Relic Chests
- Abyssal Accessory Chests
During this event, Tier 6 Cursed Looneys and Dream Horse Challenge Tokens can both be obtained in the shop by exchanging Ghost Dolls obtained through daily login prizes.
Also, starting on October 24 and continuing through the end of the event, completing daily missions awards you with puzzle pieces that fit into the Halloween Golden Skull for a final avalanche of gear goodies.
