The COD Mobile World Championship 2020 Stage 4 kicked off a few days ago. Different teams are participating in the Regional Qualifiers from their specific regions on the designated dates. The qualifiers for the Rest of the World region started on September 26 and concluded on September 27, with Team Mayhem winning the COD Mobile World Championship 2020 Regional Finals. They won a massive prize of $15,000 for finishing on top of others and qualified for the Grand finals, while team 3rB Squad came second followed by team Game and Geek, who came third in this Call of Duty Mobile tournament.
COD Mobile World Championship 2020 Regional Finals: As it happened
The best players in the different regions went head to head in a double-elimination bracket tournament. In the rest of the world region, there were 8 teams who had qualified for stage 4 of the tournament. The Regional Playoffs was broken into two sets of brackets – the Winner’s bracket and the Elimination bracket.
Winner’s Bracket
All eight teams started in this bracket, in four groups of two teams. They battled it out against each other, with the winners qualifying for the next round.
Elimination Bracket
The losers of the winner’s bracket were placed in the Elimination Bracket. However, if any of those teams lost the matches here as well, they were to be eliminated from the Regional Playoffs.
The Rewards Section
The total prize pool of the Regional Playoffs is $50,000. Here’s the rank-wise distribution of the eight teams which participated in the regional finals of the tournament.
