Netflix Games has announced a new partnership with Super Evil Megacorp, the developer of popular titles such as Vainglory and Catalyst Black, on a brand-new Netflix exclusive game. As per the announcement, the project will be based on a forthcoming Netflix release.

The news coincided with Netflix’s announcement that it will be adding 40 new games to its library in 2023, which includes Ubisoft’s Mighty Quest Rogue Palace. The development announcement of the Super Evil Megacorp’s Netflix exclusive just gives us insight into what’s coming, but not exactly the content of the game or the Netflix series.
Going by the games released by Super Evil Megacorp, the theme was more emphasized in the MOBA genre immersed mixed with action elements, which gives us some idea of what might be coming. But we can never know what’s in the plans of the makers.
The recruitment game is also going strong for Super Evil Megacorp, which gives an idea about the scale of the project. The team has added 19 new positions, most likely to work on the Netflix project, and a Lead Animator has already been roped in.
Kristian Segerstrale, the CEO of Super Evil Megacorp stated that several announcements are planned for 2023 and that the team has been genuinely blown away and inspired by the project’s scope and ambition. Once we get more details on the project, we can see what’s up for grabs next.
