There’s been a surge of excitement among fans of the renowned franchise, as Level Infinite makes it official; Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is now simply called Assassin’s Creed Jade, with the “Codename” tag taken off from the original title. In addition to this reveal at gamescom 2023, a fresh logo has been unveiled for the upcoming open-world mobile RPG, and the announcement for the 2nd Closed Beta Test of Assassin’s Creed Jade has also been made.
The gameplay showcase of Assassin’s Creed Jade gave a glimpse of what’s in store for the fans
The gameplay showcase of Assassin’s Creed Jade offered fans an interesting preview of what awaits them. As previously announced, the game is set in ancient China, and the visuals vividly capture the essence of traditional architecture, including the Great Wall of China, creating a compelling atmosphere. You easily get involved and might even rewatch to see the bits if you missed any, because that’s how good the presentation is.
Another noteworthy aspect is the new logo, which is notably more appealing compared to its predecessors. It retains the shape and style reminiscent of a dynamic moving arrow akin to the traditional design of Assassin’s Creed games, while also incorporating Chinese cultural symbolism with dragon heads on each side, alongside a lighter shade of green mixed with gold.
First announced by Ubisoft in 2022 through its Ubisoft Forward showcase titled Project Jade, we got more insights later that year thanks to a few gameplay snippets. However, on the 18th of July, they officially confirmed the name as Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade and announced the first closed beta. It kicked off on the 3rd of August 2023, which went over a week and concluded on the 11th of August.
How to register for Assassin’s Creed Jade 2nd Closed Beta Test
The registration process, however, is the same procedure as the previous round. Interested participants will need to visit the official website where players can enroll for the beta tests using their email addresses and receive a code to enter.
As of now, the specifics about the Closed Beta remain undisclosed, including the period of testing, new features added, and the rest. While the announcement has been made, no detailed information has been provided, which might be made known before the commencement of the test.
As of now, Ubisoft has chosen not to reveal any details concerning the official release date. With the pace at which the tests are going, there is hope that the announcement regarding the release will arrive soon. Stay tuned for further updates on the game as more information becomes available.
