Ubisoft just announced the date for the closed beta test of its upcoming open-world mobile RPG title Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. The first closed beta testing for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will begin on August 3rd, 2023. A total of 5,000 players from all over the world will be able to join the closed beta test. Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will be available for both the iOS and Android platforms. Ubisoft announced the title back in September 2022 and opened closed beta registrations in June 2023.
How to register for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Closed Beta Test
The closed beta version will feature English text and voiceover. Additionally, there will be two servers in North America and Western Europe. Apart from selecting the players randomly from the pre-registration, a few will also get the chance to receive the invitation as a reward for participating in the game’s Discord events. Players who are already registered for the test will get a questionnaire in their respective email by July 11th and have to submit it to finalize their registration.
To register for the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Closed Beta Test players will have to head over to the official website and after that, a “Request a code” pop-up will come up. All players need to do is fill up the code that is mailed to them while registering and that’s it.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Closed Beta Test: Schedule
The closed beta test for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will be held in four phases. Starting from July 17th, 2023, there will be a questionnaire period till the 27th. The invitation period, the next phase, will commence from July 27th to the 31st. And, pre-download will begin on the first day of August followed by the closed beta test from the 3rd of August to the 11th. The overall schedule or the closed beta test is as follows.
- Questionnaire period: 17 July- 27 July
- Invitation period: 27th July – 31st July
- Pre-download: 1st August
- Test: 3rd August- 11th August
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will reward players for solving mysteries
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade came up with another good news for the players. The game has launched a mystery site where players can unlock rewards by collecting new clues every week and will get a chance to win a slot for the upcoming Closed Beta Test starting on August 3. The rewards are as follows.

Each time Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade comes up with a new clue, it will send reminders through its official community channels. Once the players unlock 8 or more clues, they will receive an additional reward after the game release. The game will send unlocked rewards to all players by in-game mail during the test period and after launch.
Minimum Device Specifications
As mentioned earlier, both Android and iOS users can participate in the test. For Android users, the device must have Snapdragon 865 or above running on Android 10 or above. And iOS users need iPhone 11 or above to play the game.
Developed by Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is an open-world title set in third-century BCE China and takes place between the events of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins. The character customization feature of the game lets the players customize their assassins as they want. However, Ubisoft did not disclose any information regarding the official release date so far.
