Shedding some light on it, Pocketpair officially addresses this on X, confirming that the fake Palworld mobile games circulating are unrelated to their company.

In their official announcement, the company cautions users about apps on the App Store and Google Play with names like “パルワールド” (Japanese title) and “Palworld,” stressing that they are unauthorized and unrelated to Palworld. They also have asked users to avoid downloading these apps due to potential risks such as personal information leakage or fraud, with the issue already been reported to Apple and Google.
I think most of us know about the Palworld, and how big a sensation this has become. In this action–adventure title, you are in a world full of animal-like creatures called Pals, where you survive, tame monsters, and explore an open-world environment. It does give you a Pokémon-ish vibe, and that is what I liked about it since games of these backgrounds have been my go-to genre.
Well, if you are among the ones who want to fulfill the Palworld experience on mobile through unofficial games, there’s hope. Palworld makers have also been found searching for Mobile Game Engineers, whereas a collaboration between KLab and Pocket Pair is also something to cheer for, which I believe is something the latter would appreciate with KLab’s hit mobile formula with Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, Bleach: Brave Souls, and others.
So given how successful Palworld has become on PC and Xbox, I believe the arrival of the mobile version seems promising and might not be too far away. Until then, you have plenty of Palworld alternatives on mobile that aren’t “fake” games, so you can give them a try.
