Recently, several leaks about the upcoming content in Genshin Impact have surfaced on the internet. These leaks include new characters, bosses, area expansions, and much more in the massively popular role-playing game. In this article, we will cover all the leaks in detail.

Characters in Genshin Impact
A character release roadmap shows the release of Alhaitham, Yaoyao, Dehya, Mika, and Baizhu. Alhaitham and Dehya appeared in the Sumeru Archon quest, whereas Mika first appeared in the Mondstadt-based limited-time event in Version 3.1.
Baizhu’s first appearance was a long time ago in the Liyue Archon quest. Players have been waiting for his release ever since. Yaoyao’s existence was known for a while now, but her official art has only been released a few weeks ago. She, alongside Baizhu, has taken forever to be released since the announcement that they would become playable.
This tweet has been deleted because UBatcha feared that Hoyoverse would get his account banned. This speaks volumes about the severity of the leaks. The last time something this big was leaked was back in version 1.5 and Hoyoverse did not take it lightly back then. Among these, Wanderer (Scaramouche) and Faruzan have already been officially revealed by HoYoverse.

At the moment we only have detailed leaked information about Alhaitham’s kit. Some of Scaramouche’s kit is also leaked but it is not detailed enough.

Upcoming Bosses and Enemies in Genshin Impact
A new boss enemy (probably similar to Dvalin) called the Dendro Dragon exists. The boss fight will also have two phases like Dvalin, and just like Dvalin, the FOV changes between phases. It will be a weekly boss.
Several new common enemies have also been leaked.
While not exactly classified as an “enemy”, since you cannot fight them, another Ruin Golem will make its appearance in the future. The first Ruin Golem was encountered at Devantaka mountain in the Sumer rainforest, whereas the second Ruin Golem was found at the Valley of Dahri in the Sumeru desert area.
A new boss battle akin to Marana’s avatar from the Aranyaka quest line will take place in the future. It is unclear whether it is an Archon quest, a story quest, or a world quest. It is also unclear if it will become a weekly boss.
Area Expansions
The Sumeru desert area will be receiving further expansions in 3.4 and 3.6. These new areas are likely to be unlocked as part of new Archon quests and will probably contain boss battles.
The new area in version 3.8, is probably a teaser for Fontain. The Golden Apple Archipelago in version 1.6 served as a teaser to Inazuma before its release in the following 2.0 patch. The Golden Apple Archipelago debuted features like the Waverider before Inazuma’s official release to ease players into it. This new area will probably also serve a similar function for the next region, Fontain which is to be released in version 4.0.
Upcoming Story Quests and Hangout Quests
Scaramouche is being released as a playable character in version 3.3, and his story quest will also soon become available.
While 5* characters have story quests, 4* characters have hangout quests and Layla is the next 4* characters to get her hangout quest.
After every Archon quest, there is a “Traveller” chapter. The first “Traveller” chapter introduced Dainslef and the Abyss twin back in version 1.4. This was followed by another “Traveller” chapter in version 2.6 where Dainslef revealed dark secrets about the Cataclysm that took place 500 years ago. It is time for another “Traveller” chapter after Sumeru’s Archon quest finishes. This chapter will be released in version 3.5.
Upcoming Events in Genshin Impact
Version 3.3 will bring back two of the most popular events, Windtrace and Misty Dungeon. Windtrace is a hide-and-seek type minigame played in co-op. Misty Dungeon gives players trial characters to complete domains.
The rollercoaster event in version 3.8 is something completely new and there is no way to speculate how it will turn out.
Weapons in Genshin Impact
Scaramouche’s signature weapon details leaked. The passive of this weapon heavily favors normal attacks over elemental skill or burst. Scaramouche might be a normal attack-oriented DPS like Yoimiya or Ayato, however, this is pure speculation so take it with a grain of salt.
One of the events in version 3.3 will reward a free 4* sword.
Genshin Impact Artifacts
Two new artifact sets have been leaked.
This one might be tailor-made for Scaramouche since it buffs normal attack damage, just like his signature weapon does.
Both Nilou and Nahida could benefit from this artifact, but it needs to be tested once it is released.
