As the new patch 1.6 lands, new characters from a new soon-to-be-released region, Inazuma will be released in the game. 4 characters are set to be released in the Midsummer Island Adventure update. These are the likes of Kazuha, Yoimiya, Ayaka and Sayu. Genshin Impact Ayaka: Playstyle and skill-set
Kamisato Ayaka is the daughter of the Yashiro Commission’s Kamisoto Clan from Inazuma. She is a kind-hearted samurai who likes working with her elder brother. Ayaka is a 5-star Cryo sword user with her constellation being Grus Nivis. The following are her talents, skills, and attacks:

Ayaka’s Passive
- Kanten Senmyou Norito: Normal attacks to cryo-inflicted enemies have a 6 to 18% chance of reducing the cooldown of her elemental skill Hyouka by 0.5 seconds.
- Amatsumi Kunisumi Ihaigoto: Ayaka leaves her marks to nearby opponents that have less than 30% health when in the Kamisoto Art – Senhou form. Leaving her Senhou form near targeted opponents, she can instantly hit them with a normal attack. This deals a lot of Cryo damage, which is equal to 300 % of her attack. This attack is considered a charged attack.
Sets to farm for Ayaka in Genshin Impact
There are two recommended artifact sets for Ayaka, which include the likes of ‘Blizzard Strayer’ and Gladiator’s Finale’. Both of these sets are great on Ayaka for different reasons. While Gladiator’s Finale would greatly increase her damage potential, Blizzard Strayer would greatly increase her supportive DPS capabilities with her cryo skills.

Best weapons for Ayaka in Genshin Impact
With Ayaka being a DPS or a support DPS character, weapons with a greater Attack %, Crit rate and Team buffs would be of a great addition to her abilities.

With all that being said, we cannot wait for the addition of Ayaka in the game. Her cryo damage line-up would be a great addition to the rosters in Genshin Impact. We all can’t wait for her banner to come to life, especially the Inazuma region in particular.

Just in case you don’t have any of those 4 or 5 star weapons for her, Cool Steel sword being a 3 star sword is also a good choice. Because r5 Cool Steel have 24% DMG bonus for enemy affected by Cryo/Hydro attack. It will perform as good as a 4 star weapon if Xingqiu’s rain sword and Ayaka’s cryo dash combined together. But of course, getting the above mentioned 4 or 5 stars will do much better
