For Gorou the most important constellation that increases the whole team’s damage potential is C6. The constellation is not necessary to make him top-tier support but upon unlocking it players will have access to higher damage numbers. Best Builds for Gorou
Gorou is an out-and-out Support character as his kit revolves around his off-field capabilities. He pairs well with other geo characters as he provides them passive support. Best weapons for Gorou in Genshin Impact
Gorou is an energy-hungry character as his burst costs 80 energy, additionally, his energy woes are amplified by his inability to generate sufficient particles as generates a meager 2 energy orbs. Therefore it becomes extremely important to equip a weapon with energy recharge secondary stat.
Among five stars Elegy for the End is the best option providing energy recharge and elemental mastery. No other 5-star weapon currently is currently viable on Gorou.
Gorou has more options in the four-star armory namely Favonius Warbow and Sacrificial Bow. Favonius Warbow is a better option than Sacrificial since it has a higher energy recharge stat and the passive is also more useful for Gorou. The passive generates 6 energy orbs on crit attacks while the Sacrificial bow resets the cooldown of elemental skill but Gorou has a 100% uptime for his skill making the passive less valuable in comparison.

As an off-field Support whose buffs increase DEF and Geo Damage, Gorou is best utilized in Geo teams. Having two or more Geo characters will also grant Geo resonance which buffs shield strength, decreases enemies Geo resistance, and increases dmg. He synergizes exceptionally well with Itto, Albedo, and Noelle. He can be paired with Zhongli and Ningguang though they have Geo main character as a better option. Another way to create teams consisting of Gorou is to have two geo characters and two characters who can do reactions or have off-field support characteristics.
