Introducing the Weapon Banners and Currencies in Tower of Fantasy
There are 3 different Banners and each has its currency.
- Basic Standard Banner: Purple Nucleus
- Standard Banner: Golden Nucleus
- Rate-up/Premium Banner: Red Nucleus
Basic Standard Banner
The currency for this banner is Purple Nucleus. There is no pity for this banner. Also, this is the most easily and commonly obtainable nucleus. But there is no pity or a guaranteed drop for this banner. The Drop Rates are:
- SSR: 0.3%
- SR: 3.5%
- R:20%
- Other levels up and enhance materials: Rest
Standard Banner
The currency for this banner is Golden Nucleus. In every 10 pulls an SR weapon is guaranteed and in every 80 pulls players will receive a material that can be used to obtain an SSR weapon of their choice. The expected drop rates for this banner are:
- SSR: 0.75%-2.2%
- SSR: 1%-12.5%
- R: 33%
- Other levels up and enhance materials: Rest
Also, in the future, more SSR weapons might be added to this banner. On every single pull, players would get a Gold Token. And on collecting 120 of these tokens, players can exchange them for a copy of an SSR weapon they had earlier obtained through the pulls.
Premium Banner
The currency for this banner is Red Nucleus. It has the same pity system as the Standard Banner. Also, all the drop rates are similar. In every 80 pulls an SSR weapon is guaranteed. But there is a 50% chance that the player would get the Banner SSR weapon.
Also, like the Standard Banner, players would be getting Red Tokens for every Red Nucleus they have used for pulls. And 120 Red Tokens can be used to exchange the Banner weapon from the exchange shop for this Banner. Once the Banner Ends, all the Red Tokens that are not used get converted to Gold Tokens. And the pity is not reset once the Banner ends.
Pity System in Tower of Fantasy
The pity in both Standard and the Premium Banner is set to 80. So, it is guaranteed that players would an SSR weapon on doing 80 pulls. But there is a great specialty of the pity system in Tower of Fantasy. The Pity does not reset.
That is, the pull can be considered as an 80-pull cycle here. At the end of 80 pulls, players would get an SSR weapon. And it is possible that players can also get one or more SSR weapons before getting to 80 pulls. And getting an SSR weapon does not break this cycle. This pity system makes the game very F2P friendly.
