With the new year 2024 coming into the fold, new changes have been brought to the game of New State Mobile, which includes the new weather updates to the Troi map, a new 7.62mm DMR weapon in Dragunov, and more. Let us break down more about the changes which Krafton has brought, during the January 2024 Update in New State Mobile.
New State Mobile January 2024 Update: New Troi Twilight
While playing in Troi, players have a chance to experience the Twilight weather in Troi. There is an elevated chance to experience it immediately after the update, and afterward, the rate will be adjusted based on gameplay data.
Victory under this red sky will give players some special rewards. They can win and get a 50% tier point bonus to help to increase their rank. However, if players fail, they will lose 20% more tier points than usual. Be sure to play more carefully under this new condition.
New State Mobile January 2024 Update: New weapon Dragunov and Gunplay changes
Developers have added a new 7.62mm DMR, the Dragunov. The Dragunov deals more headshot damage than other DMR weapons. Survivors, prove your skills by nailing precise headshots! The Dragunov has slots for a variety of attachments, such as scopes, magazines, muzzles, and cheek pads. The Dragunov appears in all New State maps.
The Dragunov C1 customization is a dedicated tactical stock. When customized with the dedicated tactical stock, ADS speed is increased and recoil is reduced. However, the stock slot becomes unavailable.
Other Gunplay changes
They have balanced the gunplay based on feedback from our Survivors and our analysis of in-game data.
- Developers have increased the spread of bullets for AR, SMG, and LMG weapons when hip fired.
- AR weapons have had their spread increased by 6% when hip fired.
- SMG and LMG weapons have had their spread increased by 10% when hip fired.
- The Blue Zone tempo is now 10% faster than before.
- Both the waiting time for the Blue Zone and it’s contraction speed have been made faster. 20% more items will spawn.
Survivor Pass Vol. 27: Jack Overkill
The lead character for Survivor Pass Vol.27 is Jack Overkill.
Players can get the character for free by achieving certain pass levels. One can also get Jack Overkill and Cartoon State costume sets by upgrading to Premium Pass, and many more rewards will be given upon purchasing Premium Plus.
Players can meet the Choco Vanilla set once again, as players can upgrade it to Legacy Pass. All NC consumed will be refunded once they can purchase a Premium Pass and achieve a certain pass level.
