KRAFTON India, the creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), have entered into a collaboration with JioCinema, which is India’s largest OTT platform, in order to facilitate the live broadcasting of the official and largest Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Enthusiasts of gaming will have the opportunity to relish the live streaming, commencing with the ultimate round of The Grind scheduled from August 17-20, 2023.
This will be followed by Round 1 of BGIS 2023, which will be streamed starting from August 31. The climactic face-off of the tournament, The Grand Finals, is set to be streamed on JioCinema from October 12 to 14. As per the timetable, the matches are scheduled to be streamed between 1 pm and 6 pm.

Billed as the largest esports tournament of its kind in India, BGIS is set to host a competition involving more than 2,000 teams. They will vie for a substantial prize pool of $240,445, with the victor walking away with $90,151. In the prior year, Skylightz Gaming emerged as champions, securing $60,100 from the overall prize pool of $120,201.
The partnership between KRAFTON India and JioCinema holds the pledge of enthralling gaming enthusiasts all across the nation. By leveraging the extensive platform of JioCinema, the collaboration aims to enhance the gaming experience and engage millions of viewers. BGIS will present commentary in both Hindi and English throughout the initial matches, building up to a highly anticipated grand finale.
