Tribe Gaming is one of the most popular teams in the Call of Duty Mobile esports scene who went on a home run last year during the COD Mobile World Championship Western Finals 2021. This year all mobile gaming fans are hoping that they will replicate the same performance. And in the process to do so, Tribe Gaming has unveiled its COD Mobile roster for 2022 with three new players joining the team.
Tribe Gaming had an incredible time in 2021 with back-to-back first-place finishes in community and official tournaments. The team stumbled a bit during the NA Finals in September 2021 but they quickly found their footing and finished in the fifth place.
After that, they were almost invincible in their run. They persevered throughout the COD Mobile World Championship Western Finals 2021 and ended up winning the coveted tournament.
Tribe Gaming new Call of Duty Mobile roster for 2022
As the caption reads, “Time to go Back-to-Back”, the team will surely go for defending the titles in 2022. A whole new team is ready to take the responsibility of carrying a big name like Tribe. Excluding BoLu and Marshy, who are the only remaining players from the former team, Nova signed three new players. The latest team is combined with the following.
- Boris “BoLu” Lunin
- Angel “Marshy” Gonzalez
- Maiwand “Vague” Zai
- David “Slothy” Alvarado
- Jezz
In this new COD Mobile 2022 lineup, team captain and IGL BoLu is obviously the star player of the line-up. Apart from them this lineup has been bolstered by new powerful additions in the form of Angel “Marshy” Gonzalez, Maiwand “Vague” Zai, Jezz, and David “Slothy” Alvarado. Moreover, in the announcement video on Twitter BoLu is already hyping the COD Mobile community worldwide by saying, “If you thought we were good last year, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
Call of Duty Mobile esports roadmap for 2022 to be unveiled soon
As of now, Activision has not released any official roadmap for COD Mobile esports. It is being anticipated that they will be making an announcement soon regarding their plans for 2022.
Blake Lindsey, the product lead for COD Mobile esports, said in a tweet earlier this month that the esports roadmap for the game has been completed “some time ago.” He explained that the plans have to go through several people in marketing, public relations, community, and more before they can be fully announced.
Furthermore, Blake said that Activision will be doing some exciting things in 2022 that COD Mobile esports has never seen before. This included “elevating players’ profiles” through content, creating a better viewing experience for fans, and empowering the audience, players, and influencers.
