After almost one month of fierce battle, Alter Ego Ares came out as the champions of the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Southeast Asia Spring 2023. The team topped the final point table with a total of 161 points. The tournament featured all the Partnership teams alongside a few qualified teams fighting for the title. Alter Ego Ares will be taking $50,500 USD home as the winners of the tournament, while ShineLikeDiamond will get $34,500 USD as the first runner-up of the tournament.

The champions Alter Ego Ares did not have a very nice start to the tournament, as they only managed to come to the 12th position in the league stages. Out of the 20 participating teams in the league stage, only 16 qualified for the finals. Alter Ego was one of the teams with an unsatisfactory league stage run.
Despite their disappointing performance in the league stage, Alter Ego Ares made an outstanding comeback in the Finals. The team maintained consistency throughout the three match days of the final stage and came out on top with 161 points. The team won two chicken dinners on the first day of the final, giving them a much-needed moral boost.
Throughout the Finals, Alter Ego Ares consistently maintained their position in all the matches. They got into the top positions in every match with a decent amount of kills to their name. Rosemary from Alter Ego Ares was named the MVP of the tournament because of his valiant performance throughout the whole tournament.
ShineLikeDiamond, the #3 team of the League Stage got the first runners-up spot with 158 points. With equal points to ShineLikeDiamond, Yoodo Alliance took the spot of second runners-up. With this, Alter Ego Ares and ShineLikeDiamond have successfully qualified for PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023.
