The champion team qualifies for the play-in stage of the Free Fire World Series 2022!

The North American qualifier event for Free Fire World Series 2022 has just concluded, with Colombian team Osaka emerging as the Free Fire Pro Series 2022 Spring champion. After witnessing a smooth run for the first two days, the event shocked the NA fans on the final day with some surprising results. And so, despite being equal in acquiring total points, Osaka managed to grab the trophy. Fuego finished being the runner-up, and the third position was taken by Team 999.

Osaka remained consistent in Free Fire Pro Series (FFPS) North America 2022 Spring

The finals started on the first day of April. Among the 12 teams, after fighting each other for 18 matches in three days, Osaka emerged victoriously. Fuego was rogue throughout the event except for the trophy and kill points. The initial day of the event started with Fuego taking a BOOYAH! The day ended with Fuego finished in second place.

On the other hand, Osaka finished the day at four. The runner-up once again dominated, and the second day went to them. The team picked up 79 points and finished at the first position despite TEAM 999’s taking three BOOYAHs. However, Fuego’s third day went like a nightmare as the team collected only 56 points while Osaka took 85.

After a lot of nail-biting moments and cut-to-throat battles, Osaka and Fuego picked up 208 points each. But the trophy went to Osaka’s hand as the team was eight kill points ahead of Fuego. Winning the trophy has secured them a slot in the play-in stage of the upcoming grand event of Free Fire esports, the Free Fire World Series 2022.

Being the event champion has secured Osaka $12,500, while the runner-up, Fuego, grabbed $8,500. It was hard luck for Fuego as the team was so close to the trophy, yet they lost it to Osaka for not being consistent on day three. Finally, Osaka fans will expect their team to perform well in the next stage of Free Fire Esports. On the other hand, the event will be a ‘big’ lesson for Fuego to gain experience.
