The mysterious Pokemon that appeared in Pokemon Go has been revealed by The Pokemon Company. The new Pokemon, known as Gimmighoul, has two forms: a “Roaming Form” and a “Chest Form.” In Pokemon GO, the Roaming Form of Gimmighoul has already been spotted by the players. The Chest Form depicts the little Pokemon relaxing in a chest packed with coins.
Gimmighoul is a Ghost-type Pokemon in its Chest Form in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but once it transforms into its Roaming Form, it may change types. The new pokemon was made public by the Pokemon Company after teases were found in Pokemon Go. Gimmighoul’s Roaming Form can be added to your game in the following ways.
How to get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokemon GO
Following the reveal of Gimmighoul, The Pokemon Company has announced that users of the mobile app would be able to catch the wandering Ghost-type. But it appears that enthusiastic players will have to hold off until 2023 in order to catch Gimmighoul Roaming Form in Pokemon Go.
Going forward, sometime in 2023, trainers will be able to connect their Pokemon Go accounts to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon Go users will then be able to catch Gimmighoul Roaming Form in their game after doing so.
However, this isn’t the first time Pokemon Go and a traditional Pokemon game are going for a significant crossover event. Meltan was teased in during one of Pokemon Go’s Community Day events, which is similar to this Gimmighoul event. Trainers could also capture Melta in Pokemon Go, evolve it, and then transfer Melmetal to Pokemon Home so they could use it in other games. While the Pokemon Go events hosted by Gimmighoul and Meltan appear to differ in a few ways, they should function similarly in general.
