Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is going to release in Korea on March 24, 2022. On 7th February, Nexon revealed the release schedule via a user communication broadcast of Dungeon & Fighter Mobile. Announced back in November 2021 (with pre-registrations started in the same month), Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is a new game that reinterprets Dungeon & Fighter IP.
The game has built a huge fandom and boasts 850 million global users. The original game Dungeon & Fighter Online is a beat ’em up action role-playing game where players traverse 2D screens while fighting hordes of monsters.
Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is first of the three virtual worlds to be released by Nexon in 2022
The release date was announced by general director Myeongjin Yun and heads of development Wonman Lee and Sungtae Ok. Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is the first of three anticipated new virtual worlds among the many games Nexon will launch in 2022.
Scheduled for global release later this year are KartRider: Drift and ARC Raiders. The latter is the first game from Nexon’s Embark Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
The announcement regarding the release date of Dungeon & Fighter Mobile was made in an interview where three key development teams, including Neople’s general director Yoon Myung-jin, Lee Won-man, and Ok Seong-Tae, appeared to answer the questions about which users were most curious.
Yoon Myung-Jin, general director in the first interview said, “Dungeon & Fighter Mobile will be released in Korea on March 24. We are preparing for the game.” According to him improving the joystick took the most effort during the development process.
So, it is clear that the developers have put in a lot of effort to bring the game to fruition. The release in Korea will soon reveal how players react to the online RPG. For now, no announcements have been made as to when the game will be made available for other regions around the world.
