How to play co-op mode in Genshin Impact
1. Reach Adventure 16

2. Add your friend, or just find someone to play
After you have reached the level and unlocked the Multiplayer tab, you can either add or join someone. Once you reach out to someone (friend or not) they will receive a pop-up notification that will allow you to enter or not. Someone can also do this to you, so don’t be scared if a request to join pops up on your screen.

With three players, the host gets two characters and the visitors each get one. At a maximum of 4 people, each player gets one character. Also with that, there are some restrictions:
- If a story or Archon quest is in progress, you will need to complete it to play online.
- If the world level of the player you want to join is higher than yours, then you will not be able to join. However, he will be able to join you in your game.
- Only the host player of the game can open the chests, collect the different Geoculus or Anemoculus, or interact with different elements.
- World drops are available for every player.
- Each player must pay the amount of original resin for the energy line challenges.
