Tencent Games have announced via their Weibo handle that their yearly conference meet, SPARK 2023, will be taking place on May 15th this year. The event is held to give an insightful look at gaming industry trends and the future plans of the gaming giant regarding their upcoming games, plans, and more.
SPARK conference will touch on some interesting industry topics
Tencent SPARK is an annual event hosted by Tencent that includes keynote lectures, panel discussions, and product demonstrations about the latest trends and advancements in the technology industry. Topics such as AI, cloud computing, gaming, fintech, and more are covered in the past. Industry leaders, developers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from all around the world attend the event.
The SPARK 2023 will follow after Tencent Games’ participation in the recently concluded Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023. Last year, the annual conference SPARK 2022 was held on June 27, 2022, where they unveiled over 40 products and projects. This time around we can expect the same, as there are plenty of potential projects in the news.
In terms of mobile gaming, additional information about Tencent’s upcoming mobile games may be revealed, especially Undawn and the hyped Need For Speed Mobile, which will be developed under Tencent’s subsidiaries. Fans are also anticipating the announcement of any new games from Tencent.
