As per recent news emerging, it is already known that the latest version of the ever-popular Sims franchise is currently under development and running tests. The Electronic Arts project, codenamed Project Rene is testing its early access version and is using feedback from the players to fix the bugs in the game if any, and make it ready for a formal launch. It has also been confirmed that The Sims 5 would be accessible on mobile devices, according to the most recent advancements.
Ongoing mobile playtests for Sims 5 or Project Rene
So far, all are aware that just a small group of people get access to the playtest. Some people who have access to the aforementioned early test version have confirmed that The Sims 5 is accessible on mobile devices in addition to PC.
In addition, when Project Rene originally surfaced, we got a sneak peek at it running on a phone, as seen in the image above. Additionally, it was discovered that the mobile tests continued without interruption while the PC tests were purportedly delayed for a few days.

The first job listing concerns the recruitment of a Senior User Experience Researcher whose job will be to work with the studio to understand the franchise goals via user experience surveys conducted online.
Another listing is for the position of Mobile Simulation Engineer who will work with designers, producers, artists, and other core and backend engineers to implement the blueprints into the game itself. The job also requires the person to contribute to the creation of mobile application features and systems which will contribute to the game itself.
The final listing is for the recruitment of someone in the position of Senior Animator. The company requires them to be able to create and animate weather, foliage, and many other complex assets of animation which will be able to produce smooth and engaging gameplay.
With the arrival of a game as anticipated as The Sims 5 to mobile, it is surely a great piece of news as it will push the mobile gaming industry to even greater heights. And open-world games like this will definitely add value to the mobile games community as shown in the video below.
