Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc, Tim Cook during his China tour met with the developers at HoYoverse and expressed his happiness about his visit to the Chinese gaming giant. Cook’s visit reflects Apple’s efforts to strengthen ties with partners in Shanghai and other major mainland markets.
HoYoverse thanks Tim Cook, acknowledges Apple’s continued recognition and support
On Thursday, Cook posted on the Chinese microblogging service Weibo where he shared his pleasure to meet the creators of award-winning iPhone and iPad games such as Genshin Impact. He also thanked the development team for demonstrating how to create immersive fantasy worlds for everyone to enjoy on the App Store.
Responding to the Apple CEO’s message, the Chinese Gaming giant thanked Cook for visiting the company and for Apple’s “ongoing recognition and support” throughout. This visit is an indication of Apple’s attempt to strengthen ties with bigger names in the industry, and we can guess by the looks of it that it has been fruitful.
Over the weekend, Apple CEO Tim Cook began his week-long post-pandemic visit to China as part of a delegation of C-level executives and scholars from around the world attending the China Development Forum (CDF) which was held in Beijing from March 25th to March 27th.
Cook has recently visited stores, held meetings, and taken photos with various people in addition to necessary work such as business talks. Cook also visited the Apple Store at Global Harbour in Shanghai’s Putuo district and met with app developers at Apple’s first Design and Development Accelerator in China.
