Gameloft is looking forward to welcoming a new title soon, as we have the confirmation of the French gaming giant filing a trademark for Order & Chaos: Guardians in Europe. The new title will be part of the popular Order & Chaos IP from Gameloft, and it will be a great opportunity to revive the now-dead franchise.
Update as of 4:30 pm GMT, January 19, 2024: The game is officially confirmed and will be a collaboration project between Gameloft and NetEase Games. Along with the official confirmation, NetEase Games has also confirmed that the beta test will start on January 24 in selected regions for Android users.

Order & Chaos: Guardians will look to bank on the popular IP and turn out successful
Gameloft had applied for a trademark for Order & Chaos: Guardians last year on July 12, 2023. The application was then published on December 14, 2023, which will run till March of this year for the Opposition proceedings, which at the time of writing this article, is still under the proceedings.
You may have heard of the original IP thanks to the two titles released. Order & Chaos Online launched in 2011, was a groundbreaking mobile MMORPG that garnered a dedicated player base over the years. Often compared to the PC game World of Warcraft from Blizzard Entertainment, it introduced unique class roles, rare mounts acquired through open-world captures, and more such content. A sequel, Order & Chaos 2 was also released in 2015 with a TCG game Order & Chaos: Duels also being released.
Sadly, all the games went extinct, with Order & Chaos online bidding farewell to the mobile platform in February 2023. The closure coincided with Gameloft’s decision to shut down its Budapest office in Hungary the next month, signaling a shift in focus towards developing more console and PC titles. This move was seen as indicative of the French company losing its grip in the mobile gaming sector.

Collaborating with Gameloft, Order & Chaos: Guardians is being provided by NetEase Games published under their global publishing arm Exptional Global. Currently, the closed beta test is live in United States, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Still, you can follow the steps outlined here to install and play Order & Chaos: Guardians easily.

Follow the below steps to download the game on your Android device.
- You need a Google Play account from the United States, Indonesia, or the Philippines to get the game.
- Use a VPN and connect to any of the mentioned regions. Then head over to the Google Play Store and create a new account
- Skip the step where the Play Store asks you if you want to add a phone number. Then finish setting up the account.
- Click here or search for Order & Chaos: Guardians to download the game.
- Download the game and install it.
- You can turn off your VPN while playing the game.
For now, no details have been shared for the iOS or global launch, so stay tuned. Overall, with the Asphalt Legends Unite trademark filed and Order & Chaos likely to make a return with a new title, things look exciting. It is interesting how Gameloft would like to carry with this project as it was filed shortly after the shutdown of their long-running game based on the same IP.
