Clash Royale League World Finals 2022 took place in Helsinki, Finland between 23 September- 25 September. The top 16 players from all around the world participated in this tournament for the title of the new world champion.
Mohamed Light had a rough start to this tournament. He started his campaign with a 2-0 loss in the Round of 16 matches against KK of Japan. But the champion kept a winning streak until the finals throughout all the lower bracket matches. He beat Japan’s PANDORA, Canada’s Sweep, and Portugal’s Vitor75 with a score of 2-0 in the Losers’ Bracket Round 1, 2, and 3 respectively. In the Losers’ Round 4 he faced an air surfer from the USA, where he won the match with a score of 2-1.
In the Losers’ Semis Mohamed Light beat Japan’s Mugi with a score of 2-0. He took on Samuel Bassotto from Brazil in the Losers’ Finals where he became victorious and qualified for the Grand Finale. On the other hand, his opponent in the Grand Finale, Morten, had an impressive run throughout the tournament. He was unbeaten in every match until the Grand Finale. Mohamed Light beat Morten with a score of 2-0 in the Grand Finals and took the title of the world champion.
