Announced during the 2022 NetEase Connect live stream, NetEase Games has confirmed that the team is actively developing a mobile version of Naraka: Bladepoint to give mobile users a chance to experience what PC users have been playing till now. NetEase’s Pc Version of Naraka: Bladepoint was first released in China in July 2021, And then released globally in August 2021. Naraka: Bladepoint quickly became a hot seller on steam and gained immense popularity across the world. The game was an instant success because of its extremely realistic graphics, insane mobility of characters and immersive gameplay.
However, it is worth knowing that the first hint for Naraka Baldepoint Mobile was given in September last year during its Q2 2021 earnings call.
Naraka Bladepoint Mobile will hopefully follow the same success route
NetEase’s Naraka: Bladepoint will be an action-adventure genre battle royale game with 60 players fighting it out to become the last man standing. The game is set in Naraka: Bladepoint’s iconic Morus Island Map.
Primarily, Naraka on the PC version was famous for its extremely immersive gameplay that included deadly combat style, captivating martial arts fighting moves, gravity cheating parkour movements, and characters with skills that made the game different from the other battle royale games on the market.
Now, the mobile version of Naraka: Bladepoint aims to inculcate all these features into the mobile scenario and give users a taste of the ultimate Naraka: Bladepoint experience. The mobile version of the game will have co-op, multiplayer, and single-player modes.
The Closed Beta will take place before the global release
In the 2022 NetEase Connect Livestream, Lead Producer, Ray Kuan mentioned that the development team is working hard to develop a mobile version that is as same as the PC version, but is also very easy for players to get started with.
He also said that the development team is working to deliver a smooth gaming experience for players with high graphics quality, and that the mobile version of the game will host the first phase of Closed Beta tests (CBT) very soon.
All of these features, combined with the already existing popularity of Naraka: Bladepoint is definitely going to give a spike for NetEase in the market. As of now, there has been no information about the date of release or the date of the closed beta tests for the game, but we believe it will be very soon.
