Treasure Compass
Anyone who has tried to 100% their exploration progress by using the treasure compass knows how annoying it is to follow the directions given by the compass. The treasure compass is supposed to make exploration easier, not unnecessarily time-consuming. To fix this issue, treasure compasses will now mark the location of nearby chests on the map.
Friend Nicknames
Most players give a nickname to their friends to make them easier to find. However, this nickname does not show up where it needs to, making it slightly pointless. Now, co-op requests will show the nicknames, which will help remove confusion.
New Avatars
So far, the only avatars available were the faces of obtained characters. From now on, completing certain quests will unlock an avatar. If the quest is already completed when version 4.6 goes live, the related avatar will be already unlocked.
Map Interface
The map interface is getting an upgrade. At the beginning, only the “show domain” toggle was available. After the TCG was released, the “search for players” toggle was added. Both of these toggles are now being transferred to a map settings menu where you can also toggle the custom markers. This is one of the things with the Developers Discussion in the Version 4.6 Update in Genshin Impact.
As more regions are added to the game, it is becoming increasingly annoying to have to scroll through the list on the map. The region selection menu will be more streamlined to make it easier to select the desired region.
Serenitea Pot crafting
Crafting furniture sets in the Serenitea Pot can get annoying since you have to manually keep track of all the pieces that are in the set. Now, it can be done with a single button.
Quests
Certain quests, most notably the Aranara questline from Sumeru have related quest items that need to be viewed. Some quests also require looking at maps or drawings that are in the inventory. From now on the related quest item will be shown in the quest menu itself.
Reputation quests are accepted from the NPC and then they show up in the quest menu. If many quests are active at the same time, it becomes difficult to find the reputation quests. Now, a red marker will be added to easily distinguish them.
Every player has faced this issue: when you’re trying to navigate a quest and it says a character/location involved in that quest is busy with another quest. A recent update made it so the name of the quest is shown to the players, but now a new button has been added which will free up the character/location from other quests.
