China’s highest-level professional esports league for PUBG Mobile concluded today. In the latest event of Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) Spring 2024, Tianba became the crowned champion. Gathering a total of 172 points by their side, the team secured the trophy and also a direct slot in the upcoming PMWC 2024.
Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) is a long fight for the teams and it kicked off in February this year. After processing through the regular season, playoffs, and grand finals, Tianba manages to reach the top. This is their second PEL title within a period of a little more than 13 months.

Tianba finished the last PEL in seventh place where Titan Esports Club became the champion. The uncertainty is probably the highest of all PUBG Mobile events in PEL. Each team is considered a top-notch potential and can bring down the point table in a blink of an eye. However, the journey was not always pleasing for the team.
Tianba failed to directly qualify for the Grand Finals after finishing the league stage in 8th. After being through the Playoffs, they joined the other 15 teams for the grand finals. Similar to most of the events in PUBG Mobile, the grand final consisted of 18 matches. Tianba wasn’t performing badly but was not up to the mark as well. However, things got changed after the second day as the team brought three WWCDs home, adding huge points beside their names.
Tong Jia Bao Esports tried their best but couldn’t catch the PEL Spring 2024 champion. Decimating the others, the champion took 100 elimination points along with 65 points to keep them on top. Sad for the NOVA Esports fans, their hard luck continues following the team. One of the most favorite and successful teams in PUBG Mobile esports history, NOVA could only manage to be in the top 12. We may again miss the team in the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024.

With over 2.5M USD cash prize, the event marked itself as one of the highest-paying mobile esports championships. Tianba after accumulating all the prize money, made almost $800,000 while the others couldn’t reach even halfway. Tong Jia Bao Esports pocketed nearly $340,000 while the third-highest-earning team was Weibo Gaming with just a little over $250,000 in their account.
Chinese teams are regarded as the most ferocious and deadly in the title’s esports events. While the battle is of the giants, the global teams should make themselves ready for what’s coming in the upcoming international events. And Tianba will surely look to bring the trophy to China again!
