Team Soul, one of India’s loved and popular esports teams operating in India, has announced its partnership with iQOO, a subsidiary of mobile phone brand Vivo. The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer will be the organization’s title sponsor for the next six months. The partnership will rebrand Team Soul as “iQOO Soul“. The announcement comes just after the team’ won the ‘Esports Content Creator of the Year” award for the second consecutive year.
Nipun Marya, the CEO of IQOO, expressed excitement about joining the partnership with Team Soul. He said, “This partnership is a testament to our dedication to excellence and the collective vision of making strides in the ever-evolving world of competitive gaming.”
Team Soul enters partnership with iQOO ahead of BMPS 2023
As the new journey starts for Team Soul with their latest title sponsor iQOO, the closest challenge the team has to face now is the grand final of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023. The team will wear new jerseys in the upcoming events where iQOO’s logo will appear on the kits. The grand final of BMPS 2023 will take place from the 15th of December 2023 to the 17th at the Eka Arena Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Team Soul is the defending champion of the series.
While it is a whole new experience for Team Soul to enter a partnership with iQOO, the Chinese company has quite a few experiences. iQOO stepped into Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) events a few times with PUBG Mobile’s publisher KRAFTON. Besides, the company was the official device partner in the 19th Asian Games in Huangzhou.
Officials from both sides expressed delight at the latest partnership as they commented on the matter.
